India denies medical visa to Pakistani woman seeking cancer treatment

I must add for free....the only hospital in the world where 75% of the patients are treated free. Yearly expenditure is 500 crore...all donated by Pakistanis.

Most government hospitals in India provide medical service free of cost to it's citizens.

After proper background checks have been made the visa should be issued if the hospital says it has capacity and resource.

A cancer patient cannot influence foreign policy.

See, I dont know how easy it is for a common man in Pak to go through a bureaucratic process in Pakistan...but I tell you in India its damn difficult...may be in this case, this lady might have chosen a quicker luck by chance approach by directly twitting Indian MOAF for a visa rather than approaching its MOAF.....and got a publicity

I doubt its that difficult since everything was running fine before, and now in the last two months everything is rejected and the reason being cited is "deteriorating relations"

If you have to tweet the official to get a visa and pressure on the department to issue a visa then there is a problem in your government not the process.
