India 'deeply regrets' accidental firing of missile

Here is my take on the incident......

First of all to me, it was a well thought of, well planned act by India, with an aim to achieve multiple objectives.....terming it an accident is just an eye-wash

1. India is under pressure from US and Russia to support their version. It's a catch 22 situation that can be only averted if India create something major in it's backyard and can then give excuse of been consumed by this event and has no time for the conflict in Europe (Ukraine - Russia).

2. To check the detection and response capabilities of Pakistan's defence systems against their best weapon. They have successfully tested what achieved what they want.

3. To demonstrate capability of their supersonic missile. Already many south Asian countries have shown interest in acquiring it ...now India is hoping to get lot more attention and orders after this real-time demonstration.

4. Setback to China on reliability of their weapon systems......many countries have given orders for HQ-9 air defence system...this incident will impact trust on Chinese weapons.

5. Demotivate Pakistan (population), that their army despite claiming to track it since it took off, kept watching it helplessly and allowed it to travel 120 + KMs (3 minutes) inside it's territory and couldn't stop it.

6. Signal Pakistan's establishment that Indian RSS govt. can now up the bar on such adventures after securing political supremacy and support of Indian mass population (as seen in recent elections). They can now pass any bill in both their parliament houses without opposition (being in majority in both the houses).
Horrible analysis

Typical Indian rambling

A serious question, is not there a multi code launch approval system for such systems?? If it is then how come a mistake and a launch ? did it breach all control layers?
And God Forbid if such a system is not there then we are sitting on a pile of nukes on both sides with a lit up match in hands.

I am angry and agitated that you used the sentence "We are sitting on a pile of nukes on both sides with a lit up match in hands".
Why you used "both sides" when there is no evidence of any such scenario on Pakistani side!!
Remember, it is reported twice that in India nuclear material had gone missing, and now this "accidental firing of a nuclear capable missile". Not once in Pakistan.
Why are you doing false propaganda against your own country!!

I think he just means both sides have nukes so it's a dangerous situation

Based on his angreji and the way he expresses his point of view, fits in a very typical Indian profile. I am sure when he goes back to India to visit family, he wears a golden bracelet and keeps speaking in incorrect angreji while criticising everything, just to impress the other slumdogs who haven't made it out of India yet.

Yeah, he is Indian

I don't know who he's trying to fool, he was even arguing in support of India banning the Hijab, all regurgitated Indian BS

Hey one point hit me, and may be I am wrong. But I will anyway write.

This "mistake" was deliberately done by India to see international response. This usually happens when you are already in advance stages of war preparations.
So I think our time is near. Get ready rather than wasting time. India only has one s400 battery, and Pakistan will be attacked as soon as remaining order arrives. We can't stop missiles, and man India knows it now.

I think, no let me correct i am convinced that the aims of this "accidental launch" are far more sinister and far reaching than most realise here.

I am seething from the response of the DG ISPR for reasons. They have played it down deliberately to fool Pakistanis.

Which one of us are 100% satisfied from the remarks that it was tracked from its launch at Sirsa until it impacted in Shorkot!!

And if we had the capabilities to shoot it down, why it wasn;t shoot down when it entered Pakistani airspace!!

Were Pakistanis aware at the time,
i- it was an accidental launch!!
ii- it is unarmed and not carrying a conventional or nuclear warhead, ready to explode!!

The Qs should be asked by the Pakistanis from the "Braves" why they took such a huge risk and not shoot down this missile even inside Indian airspace before it breached Pakistan's sovereignty!!

I cannot take the image out of my mind, PAF chief's reasons at the time of "OBL" fiasco. I have never heard such "Buzdilan" statement ever from head of an air force in my life.
I am afraid I am 1000% convinced same cowardly approach is repeated here, without shadow of a doubt, otherwise there were no reasons not to shoot down this missile if you had the capacity to do so.

No Pakistani source could have been 100% certain that it is accidental and it is not armed with activated warhead or even if it is armed with nuclear warhead.

I am afraid Pakistanis do not ask tough questions from their "Braves" and politicians both. No wonder they are feed such garbage regularly without any blow back.

Those who want to Qs my remarks regarding OBL fiasco could answer following Qs.
i- Were the 2 Chinook landed in Kala Dacca also "Stealth"!!
2- Even the main 2 helicopters which intruded in to Abbotabad, how long would take them to go back to the base in Afghanistan safely!!! Include the duration of the actually operation in Abbotabad.
3- What is the capacity of the helicopters used in the raid, how it carried the Seals from the "destroyed" helicopter!!!

Nobody has ever answered my questions, and nobody ever will, period.
Critical thinking is not the forte of Pakistanis, no wonder they are taken to the cleaners for last 74 years. Mind boggling really.

Some thoughts from my side.
So India was under pressure on Ukraine side. So may be Indian and Pakistani sides want to play war in our region so that we have a valid excuse not to participate. I doubt that Pakistani establishment knew everything even before that launch.
But this is an opinion, and my opinion has changed several times over past few days.
The best strategy at the moment can be to discuss the loopholes in Pakistani security and let's fill it, simple. Let's not escalate any further. Or if we really need to then simple firing on loc will also do the job.

In 2019, we defeated a Vintage Mig 21 with our F16s in 3:1 combat
If you get 3:1ed 12 hours after enemy general tells you in press conference about impending attack then it's totally on you. In fact it raises major question about their competence.

gave him tea and then safely escorted him across the border under pressure.
You forgot the part where his *** was spanked and his pants were put in museum for whole world to see.

HQ9 ? its mach 4 category system.
No you're wrong HQ-9 has some capability to intercept short range ballistic missiles but against terrain following supersonic air to ground or ground to ground cruise missiles it has no capability to intercept them.

You should look at world's major anti missiles defense systems, I'm not saying about ANTI BALLISTIC MISSILES DEFENSE SYSTEMS but CLOSE IN ANTI MISSILES SYSTEMS they're all based on short to medium range SURFACE TO AIR MISSILE SYSTEMS

Cool down , relax and read the post again.
First of all there is no propaganda in the post. All the post says is when a fool puts everyone in the neighbourhood in trouble, the neighbour shall have to do some thing in retaliation. In this case a nuclear MAD whcih shall be triggered by a fool.
Both sides means, both have equally dangerous weapons where one may have to use his because the other is not wise enough or mature enough.
Your anger and agitation is welcome but first you need to understand what has been written and meant before you qualify some one with making propaganda against his homeland.

No hard feelings but you could have asked the same in a better manner.

Keep your non-sense to yourself. I am British, English is my first language.

English?? Where does that come from? Any ways I am extremely regretful for not getting a certificate of being sensible from your highness.

Wow is their any failure that indians wont paint as a win?
Your argument is not only biased but completely flawed. Let me elaborate:
1) There are two scenerios a) India did this deliberatly b) It was malfucntion. Now if they did it as planned i do agree with you ( on this ONLY) that they did it to check our response. But if it was malfunction not only it shows how poor missile technology of india is but how irresponsible the upper brass of india rn is.
2) Now Pakistan detected the "undetectable" missile of india and that too within india. The trajectory was shared by Pakistan in Ispr press brief. That trajectory was later confirmed by Indian MoD. All of this is in google. This means that Pakistan has capability to detect india's most advanced cruise missile
3) You later claimed that it will boost brahmos sale. If one are too follow the official stances of both govt then the missile launch was malfunction and thr missile was detected by Pakistan (which debunks the indian undetecable claim) i will let you decide how anyone would want a faulty detectable missile.
3) You claim Pakistan ADS failed. The ministers are saying it was intercepted, locals heared two explosions, Pakistani radars kept following the missile, and pictures which are available clearly show the ditch which is not deep for a mach 3 crash.
Everybody is patriotic i get that but to paint your failures as winnings would only cost you in future. What's next? India shot down its helicopter in 2019 cuz it was carrying ISI agents? i mean brahmos has been exposed yet your analysis suggest otherwise and that too based on nothing

So basically in case these missiles are fired we have nothing in our cards. Thats worrisome
