The Pakistani strategists know the facts, but it is more convenient for them to keep the entire nation in line by selling them a idealized vision for Kashmir, with many secondary benefits. Not a bad strategy, if you ask me, as long as it works..

They don't want an independent Kashmir.They want Independent Indian Occupied Kashmir so that they can capture it and can assimilate.

Good idea of using technology and modern methods. I wish the things really get enhanced in both the rival countries. Still even after 68 years if independence both of the countries are holding obsolete and outdated British colonial systems. There are hardly any changes in the fields of education, judiciary, civil service and defense. Just following the leftover systems of the British colonization.

Not that kind of a wall. A 135 foot embankment supposedly with deep trenches on either side. Bombing won't be effective.
