It is right that we are not a counter-weight to China. But it is good that we are trying to compete with China. I doubt whether India will grow, if there are no threats/competition.

If India Pakistan go to war, India may (MAY) win the battle but what is the point of such a win when Pakistan destroy our economy. Any country today with a force can send another country 20 30 years back.
It is like a fight between two people, one has to die but other will make every effort to cripple him for rest of his life..

Just another lame thread. China began economic reform over 10 years before India and has a government which can make long term economic growth plans while India is held hostage to the election cycle.

China having more money to spend on its military is a logical outcome of this situation.

India do neet to spend to match china, India need to build smart next gen weapons like Brahmos -I &II which can wipe out any surface ship in secs

Thats why India investing money in Brahmos , they have got good tactical battlefield missile.

I don't know why you guys are still coming back with such whimsical reply. You have been shying away from exposing your stark weakness. Regardless of Olympics or Military Games, you cannot avoid the fact that you lose awfully in both events.

We have both, in mental and physical conditions! Tell your indian elephants to pole vault just 1 meter for you, go ahead!
