UP Police arrests suspected ISI agent, recovers key Army documents​

The police said it recovered 'secret documents of the Indian Army, three mobiles and six SIM cards' from Asif Ali.

Meerut: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Saturday arrested a suspected ISI agent in Meerut. Asif Ali, who has been living in the city for some time now, is accused of handing over key information about the Indian Army to the Pakistan intelligence agency.

The police said it recovered "secret documents of the Indian Army, three mobiles and six SIM cards" from Ali.

Ali is also accused of providing money to ISI agents across India. Police sources said that his wife is a Pakistan national and that he has been travelling to Pakistan quite often.

well as the media report says - He is still a "Suspected Agent" - i say let the due process be completed and punish him as per the law --- why going for a media trial / prejudice ??

there are certain documents that are declassified by the Govt - US is one example in that - where documents are declassified queit often - so if someone is in possession of those - makes one an agent?
