India is in a very peaceful neighborhood right now, partly because of our nukes and partly we dont dwell on nukes alone. What kalam said was exactly right in terms of stockpile, since a certain country would not stop building nukes.

But your hypothisis concerning 20 to 30 nukes in 1 year is highly doubtful..but its not impossible of India either!!..We have jack up our production with plutonium from Fast breeders.
