India Can Build Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carriers

you guy forget indian secondhand carrier from russia^^
We have completed the reconstruction of a USSR's carrier on our own efforts ,However,indians were tricked into giving the russia lots of money but russia have still not finished the work on the carrier now,. It seems like that russia is still asking for more money from indains.lol

we placed order to have more carrier group, in case our indigenous one takes time..

for all those who comment LCA, ARJUN as failure..

1. MMRCA = jan-feb
2. AGNI 5 = feb- march

A nuclear powered carrier could cost what 2-5 bn dollars, not to mention the rest of the CBG, fighter jets, helos, AEW&CS etccccccc. Btw why did they french decide to replace their nuke carrier with a conventional one?

We can build nuclear destroyers , or partner with Russia which is planning to build around 2016.

nuclear powered has many benefits in high tech futuristic weapons like laser gun, electro magnetic rail gun,
etc... maintenance, recycling, scrapping are expensive though...

other applications like portable ship or air borne power generators for remote places.. etc

so its worth pursuing nuclear powered ships and designing small reactors alone or with partner

Indian navy might disrupt their oil supply in Indian ocean, that's why Chinese are thinking forward for a N power AC. To counter it India is looking forward for N power submarines.
