India can boycott but will not invite J&K Assembly Speaker: Pakistan

Now it would be interesting to see if india will flex its soft power muscle on other members :)
Its always fun to watch this kind of game :)

Have to see what Pakistan will gain or loose with this stance in global community and how it would affect its gains on local level.

Well actually this is what you think. To give yourself a little bit of relief after this snub by Pakistan. A facesaving thinking that Pakistan shot itself in the foot which obviously is not the case. Pakistan did exactly the right thing. And no. Nobody will think twice before organizing events in Pakistan. You are not that important as you consider yourself to be. That is the reason that majority of the participants would be present in the event.

How is India irrelevant?

- 1.31 billion people
- $ 2.3 Trillion GDP
- At 7.4% growth rate, India is fastest growing economy in the world
- World largest democracy.
- Fourth power military in the world
- The only country in Asia to send a mission to mars and the first country to send its mission on its first attempt.
- Some of the world best Universities in the world (The alumni of which are CEO of companies such as Google, Microsoft, Pepsi, Adobe etc...)
- India silicon valley is only second to US's

I can go on and on...but I think you got the point.

You can go on and on. But still there is no difference if you don't attend this event.

It may not make any difference to Pakistan...but would make a lot of difference to the Common Wealth. Remember...India is by far the largest country in Common Wealth.

Parliamentary meet and let alone only commonwealth's, but world's biggest democracy boycotts it ,then that meet must be farce and should be scrapped. The country in which it is being held itself hasn't been democratic at all the times , so it makes this so called meet all the more farce. We are better off without such farce useless meets.

Hail Modi !! What a master stroke.

But one thing for sure...Pakistan shot itself in its foot. Now people will think twice before organizing an international event in Pakistan lest it politicize it with its disputes with India.

I guess, India never wanted to visit Pakistan and will use every excuse not to visit Pakistan.
Like how your cricket is politicized when it doesn't play matches against Pakistan?

Still nobody cares.

No it won't make much difference. That's why we have respected and appreciated your decision of not coming to this event.

Lol. Doesn't matter for Pakistan even a tiny bit. That's why Pakistan simply rejected hosting this meaningless conference. Don't know what you bharatis are happy about when Pakistan is showing you your aukat at every platform. Whether it is LOC ceasefire violations or NSA talks. :)
