It was a courtesy letter and Modi cant take all decisions on its own without the approval of cabinet ... although he can send letter without their approval and in letter he just desired for peace and look today .... we lost 3 police men in Kashmir ... so the decision is right to call off meetings ... bullets and talks cant go side by side...

Awesome. It is good we haven't wasted any time with India now that our new government is in place.

The record needs to be straight. India is an enemy country and it should be treated as such.

America will continue to play the devil's advocate by trying to patch up things so that it can demand Pakistan to do more.

i dont know why is IK desperate for india.......they just need to keep going on the diplomatic offensive of indian atrocities in international arena as well as wait for 2020 referendum of Sikhs. India has no choice whatever its actually is being isolated internationally in Kashmir.

We need to keep on doing that and take the anger of cancelling these talks in UNGA speech by highlighting Kashmir even more!

Your govt cant decide anything with respect to India ...its your Army who decides your policy related to India .... so good intentions of your govt will have no impact on the outcome of the talks ..... and yes finally India govt learned this infinite loop of unnecessary talks , better spend time somewhere else other then talking to Pakistan ..... same goes for govt of Pakistan spend the time on doing something good for common Pakistan populace then talking to India

You are right, but I think Imran Khan is trying his best. As a new government he is extending an olive branch. If Modi continues such a negative posture Imran Khan would feel vindicated. The world can see who is cancelling a simple meeting.
