In the midst of tension between India and China along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is constructing an emergency landing strip in south Kashmir on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway.

The work has started next to the newly constructed national highway between Srinagar and Jammu near south Kashmir’s Bijbehara. The total length of the airstrip will be 3.5 km and will be used for an emergency landing.

Officials, however, have denied any link to Indo-China border tensions with the construction of the airstrip in south Kashmir. Officials told India Today TV that the airstrip was already in the pipeline.

Indian and Chinese troops have been engaged in a bitter standoff in several areas along the Line of Actual Control in mountainous eastern Ladakh for close to a month. Both the countries are holding talks at military and diplomatic levels to resolve the dispute.

Troops of India and China have been engaged in a major standoff for over three weeks in Pangong Tso, Galwan Valley, Demchok and Daulat Beg Oldie in eastern Ladakh, in what is turning out to be the biggest confrontation between the armies of the two countries after the Doklam episode in 2017.

The general officer commanding of Leh-based 14 Corps is expected to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart on June 6 to ease tensions. Several rounds of negotiations between local commanders as well as between major general-rank officials of the two armies have not yet produced any positive result.

So where exactly did it say PLAAF violated Indian airspace?

Or that's the only way to soothe your nerves!!

. . .
Im sure if tomorrow if PLAAF were to conduct a missile test, as per some members here, that missile would land in indian territory and might cause some casualty.

I am sure if Pakistan downs Indian jets tomorrow, some members here would claim "Absolutely nothing happened at all. All pilots and jets have been accounted for." But if slapped with a video evidence, they'd claim they also downed an F-16 with 1960s technology plane.

where it says hmmm look at the title thats where it says :chilli::bunny::yahoo::pakistan::china::usflag:
Look kid, per PDF policy...you can't put up a doctored title which deviates from the original article's title or atleast that should reflect in the content

I don't see PLAAF violating Indian airspace mentioned anywhere in the article

But again, if y'all wanna blindly act as cheerleaders out of sheer hatred for India...so be it

Good going. Fighting a stronger country is always tough, but you get significant defensive advantage.

If China actually manages to capture disputed land, it will gain a perpetual enemy.

. .
Right, so India i building the new airstrip, but India is in panic. Okay.

I hope putting the irrrelevant and false title will make OP have a good sleep tonight.

Rest assured that Indians will never know if their airspace has been violated since PLAAF has stealth and Modi will be too embarrassed to admit it.

. . .
Right so now your narrative changes from "airspace is violated", to "airspace is violated but we dont know due to stealth".
Good going.

Did not change narrative. All indications point to that fact that PLAAF did in fact violate Indian airspace. The truth will come out soon enough like Feb 27, India cannot hide for long.
