so you find the help less? or you are ridiculing the help? I havent seen a "recognition" or "appreciation" for it from you.

India and China have turned into helping their neighbors and other countries. By ridiculing the help you are only insulting the good gestures and friendly gestures. Request you to kindly take notice of the good intentions and the amount of help being given.

I dont think he ridiculed any thing, Lankans are grateful to any genuine help offered.. Just clarified the stats.. Statements from India regarding Lanka seems to exaggerate both positively and negatively owing to pacifying certain sections of the country

How about our homeless??
What about the millions of homeless Indians in India?

The homeless, slum dwellers in India are mainly illegal immigrants, they don't have any property in India and come with almost nothing, hence they're homeless....and we can never do enough for them considering that their number is ever increasing because they don't stop or are not stopped from coming into India.

India has launched the third phase of a housing project in Sri Lanka by expanding the category of beneficiaries to include Indian-origin Tamils who are settled in the central part of the country as plantation laborers.

India’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Y.K.Sinha told All India Radio in an interview that the second phase was completed with successful construction of 10,000 houses in the north and eastern parts of the country for internally displaced people who were affected by the civil war.

He said that in the third phase, about 16000 houses will be built, and added that the main beneficiaries would be Tamil plantation workers.

Sinha said that during the second phase, a total of 43,000 houses are being built, and added that in 2014, the third phase of construction would be activated.

Sinha said the beneficiaries have been selected on basis of clearly laid down criteria in consultation with the Sri Lankan Government, ANI reports.
