So have all my friends, its simple, if they bring in good money, kill them and marry another one. If she does not, then kill her and marry another one. Its pretty straight forward really. The government has made laws to protect the husbands, the society encourages this practice and its on the rise. This way soon all indian males will be rich and our poverty problem will get solved.
The only issue here is that India was, is and will remain the only country on earth that has social problems (as seen by ignorant foreigners) and these ignorant foreigners from socially perfect societies like iran, china, pakistan, usa etc etc will keep attacking india in generic terms using this (mis) information. But we have to live with it if we are to become rich eh?

People can get away with this in India&Pakistan but you can't get away with this in china they will execute you and send the bill to your parents for the bullet Iran they will hang you and there is no freaking way you can get away from This in USA as you will have a cell mate Bubba for life so its only India Pakistan problem and its a shame.

Atleast you are honest, and I agree its a shame, like any other crime. The whole dowdry concept was discarded by my community about a hundred years ago (thanks to a reformer who was not from my community but a brahmin). But it surely exists particularly in business communities and some states. I feel like dragging such people on the roads and publically beating them up black and blue.
What I'm hundred % sure of is that government has made some really strict laws (many men's organisations complain the laws are too harsh and easily misused against men) and the problem has become smaller not bigger. Number of police cases registered may have gone up (I don't know) but thats because the society has become much more open in the last two dacades.

No they have not but problem in Pakistan is You can buy your way out very easily i am not sure if its same in India or not but Most other nations punish people taking bribes and that alone discourages people from getting tempted.
