Yeah. North-eastern states are naturally quite beautiful and resourceful. I myself am originally from Assam and have been to Shillong a few times. Its really wonderful. Its pity that North-eastern states are not famous travel destinations yet(mostly due to extremism). But again there is always hope. And tourism ministry's tagline is quite good. North-East - Paradise Unexplored. Its really unexplored.
