Until the relation b/n India & Pakistan improves & Iranian 'situation' becomes stable IPI pipeline will remain a pipe dream. Why should our energy security be allowed to be held hostage by Pakistan.

AFAIK, the IPI pipeline was the pipe dream one person in India..Mani Shankar Iyer. Otherwise there is no much support for this project in India. As said before give us a reason for investing in a multi billion dollar pipeline that can be shut off any time by Pakistan jeopardizing our energy security. If you want to talk about Western pressure, you can't even build IP with Iran promising funds for building pipeline in Pakistan, so forget about IPI

There is no such ship and AFAIK, oil and gas tankers only come close to port for repairs and maintenance.

How is TAPI a fluke? Does it make you feel better calling it a fluke? Construction is going on right now.

And Iran's not even funding Pakistan's side of pipeline so your argument is kind of stupid. Just admit you left IPI because of western pressure.
