Hahahahahahaha!! 5 years later and still NO official, creditable source just conjecture and abuse by Pakistanis. I neither believe Israel would ask India to do such a thing nor do I believe the GoI would carry out such a request especially as many cable providers in India are privately owned and so nothing to do with GoI. If Arab/PTV is not available in India it is not some Zionist/MOSSAD/RAW/CIA conspiracy as so many Pakistsatni members think it is the rules of supply and deman. The most basic of all economic laws. If the Indian audience simply don't find it to their tastes then there will be no demand for it and hence NO SUPPLY by profit-maximising cable operators.

old indian cry i hav lots of indian freinds and relatives they say when ever we ask our cable operators to open several Pakistani channels which they want to c their cable operator simply refuse and says that indian govt hav banned pakistani channels and we are not allowed to open them......
Please guys dont open ur mouth if u dont know nything and live in practical world and always ready to admit ur failures as it will give u more strenght, giving silly excuses will make india more funny to Pakistanis and other countries....

In my city (in South India), we don't even receive the full compliment of Hindi channels (as majority of us don't understand Hindi) let alone Arab ones. Cable operators are not here to do any charity and if they find that there is no demand for a particular channel they will not broadcast it. Eventhough I sometime notice one KSA channel( which is showing Mecca all the time) in our cable network. Anyways if some one is so desperate to see Arab/Pakistani channels he can go for DTH.
