India-Bangladesh land swap: Over 14,000 new Indian citizens

No ..It is not that Indian media are ignorant...Rather India and its people sees BD as a friendly nation unlike Pakistan..where our main focus is the settlement of issue in a peaceful manner...If BD is due with getting more land than India, then we respect it...And its good that BD is happy with this treaty gets completed..

Usually Indian media gets hyper only with Pakistan...Even they do not get hyper with China too...So forget about BD...

Its from Bangladesh side too, they always wanted India as their friend. But, unfortunately until recent modi's time all treatment and attitude was not really beneficial for Bangladesh. Where Pakistan would always pray for death of India, the Bangladeshi people would always look for friendly India and end of big brotherly abusive India.

Take consideration of losing lands as sacrificing for a new future friend. Bangladesh is grateful to India for its liberation contribution, don't forget.

Both side wins from this swap. Even though BD is getting more land, but that land was probably useless to India as it did not have any direct access to it.

You have to understand the politics of India...our opposition parties makes lot of noise, but they come to power, they really behave what it should have done...If you see recently, the same BJP who was attacking BD earlier based on illegal immigants issue, is not talking about this issue at all..The reason, we all know, even US can not stop illegal immigation from Mexico to stop..So it is literally impossible to seal such an Indo BD porous border...So we need a different human approch to solve this issue rather than jingoism...BJP understand it...But before solving the major issue, Modi wants to build confidence with people in BD...So he will try to solve all the issue what can be resolved...Just wait and see amny more other pending issues will also be resolved in peaceful manner..Modi is not anti of any nation but he does not try to even appease any one...That is the difference between him and other PM of India..

Thanks for the appreciation. The political practice is almost same here too, the BNP is always anti-india but not when they are in power. But, the harm is already done when they are in anti side. Cause, large number of voters did already believe their propaganda's. Congress has betrayed lot to Bangladesh in recent years, but they did the best contribution in our liberation. That makes mine like people really in confusing situation. But, the door for improving wounds is always open for this two country.

Really interesting around 36,000 Indians left their citizenship and choose to become Bangladeshi.

They remained in their property and automatically became Bangladeshi, it's boring!

Parties change with change in leadership. Congress of today is not the Congress it was back then.
