Total aid, economic and military to Pak has been much higher than India.
And unlike Pakistan India can survive without the aid.


The United States began providing economic assistance along and military aid to Pakistan shortly after the country’s creation in 1947. In total, the United States obligated nearly $67 billion (in constant 2011 dollars) to Pakistan between 1951 and 2011.

US committed to boosting Pakistan’s precision strike capability, Congress told - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

WASHINGTON: The Obama administration has informed Congress that it is committed to improving Pakistan’s precision strike capability, which is seen as a veiled reference to F-16 fighter jets.

In a document released this week, the US administration told US lawmakers that its Foreign Military Funding (FMF) to Pakistan would focus on seven priority areas “identified and agreed to with the government of Pakistan”.


The Pakistan Embassy said that as a frontline state in the war against terror, Pakistan has been “most actively engaged in a sustained military campaign”.

Pakistan’s efforts had received “global recognition and appreciation, including at the senior levels of US Administration”, he added.

and the aid India does get is through side contracts from defence deals as a sign of good gesture . India has always been a giant importer of military tech , back then it was about development , now its about it's mostly about counter terrorism & soft power pet projects .
