Pakistan minister Rehman Malik speeking to NDTV said that India and Pakistan had a common cause to fight against Terror. He has said the trials of the 26/11 attacks on Bombay are delayed due to Pakistans Judicial System and not due to the Government of Pakistan.
On question about Hardliners wanting to stop the peace process, he as commented out Hardliners on either side will always want to stop the peace process but Pakistan is commited to its Peace process with Inida and he also quoted that the Indian PM is positive.

I hope this is a win-win situation that is developing.

I think most people in Pakistan and in India are locked into a mindset, in a way they are invested in maintaining a mindset of hostility -- each side tries to play the "victim", and perhaps it's now time to see that this mindset is now generating negative dividends -- See, in a earlier phase, the political and economic scene, saw in this mindset, some substantial benefit - but as the economies have done better, it's beneficial to all, to have their investments secured from uncertainty, from upheaval and violence.

Whereas before political forces could use nationalistic arguments to sustain the hostile mindset, the changing economies argue against such a course and for exactly the opposite.

None of this Bhai Bhai business, but on the other hand, none of this reckless and senseless talk of being involved in armed hostilities, either directly or through proxies - Why? See above and if unconvinced, consider how sane it is for nuclear armed nations who share a border to be feeding this hostile mindset.

There is a world to win, there really is - this petty BS, is unworthy - unworthy.

I disagree with you saying that Terrorism originates from Pakistan alone, the day there is a 26/11, in the next few days we see that there is a terror attack on Pakistan soil too, so there might be RAW behind that attack. Why to go to such extent, we have extrimist people here in India too (remember who killed Gandhi). If we are looking for making a better place for both India and Pakistan then we should be laying a better foundation to promote brotherhood by helping each other when ever it is necessary.

Its not about RSS being a terror organization or not. Given the circumstance will the Saffron brigade accept friendship from Pakistan or will it make matters worse, Given the understanding on my part not all the RSS members are hardliners there is a good percentage of rational thinkers in the RSS who will accept cordial relationship from Pakistan. Wll the LeT do the same are there soft LeT members who are interesting in friendly relationship with India, If the GoP is accepting a friendly hand of India then LeT will treat Pakistan as its number 1 enemy for betraying their cause,
