The ABP video made me angry because in it a BSF commander was heard shouting at the Indian soldier to step back, instead he should have supported his man to fight back even more.

I wish you wouldn't use phrases like that. I've been objecting almost daily about the use of this really objectionable epithet, and you convert it to a joke.

1. This should never have happened, in the first place.
2. Once it happened, it is good that people sprang into action.
3. I would have preferred a single sharp command from an officer on either side to have stopped it. To have to have people separating them physically speaks very poorly of their unit discipline.

That's a straightup court martial for the Indian for losing his bearing and attacking a foreign soldier on duty. Idk if it will happen in India but any professional western military, this would be a straight up court martial.

pretty sure he will face action... emotion is no excuse for poor behavior...

I always thought it is just an orchestrated drama and soldiers on both side get together and laugh at dumb public on both sides.. looks like it has gone into their heads.
