India and Pakistan: Back on the Brink

shukriya. I am not here to bang anyside but if someone is frequent attacking Pakistan then I keep the right to defend. If the Indians want to discuss serious matters and then it is ok but if they keep doing the same "arrogant" posting then it is accepting the same in return. I have been moderating Indians and Pakistani equally on PDF so there is no special weight on one side. This is not the keymag forum where Indians use western names (just check how many "westener names" post in the IAF news section...). It is a very nice forum and it has my support.

Whether you like it or not. India is atleast as failed as Pakistan rely after negative attacking Pakistan. Just do some reading of his posts.

But no as failed as Paksitan, right?you said it.
Imagine if after doing all this you stil consider India to be almost as failed as pakistan what might be happening in pakistan?

Pakistan does not show around the pathetic title of democracy while the majority has no food. .

Pvertly level is down to 25% and we have a middle class which is bigger than the population of US!!!Now you know what a hell of a good job we have done.
Only 25% left and we achieved it in a period of 59 years after fighting 3 wars and Hindu-Muslim riots and insurgency in kashmir and NE.
Now do you realise what a great job was done here.

but miles to go before i sleep....still we have around 300Mn under poverty level ie less than a dollar a day.

Why is this forum called Pakistani forces if pathetic posters are allowed to attack Pakistan? I don;t mind healthy discussions but this guy is purely after negative attacking Pakistan. Just do some reading of his posts.

I will do that Munir,i havent blindly attacked your nation or blindly supported my nation. But i will go throught my posts once again, hope that pleases you.

Mr. Munir
I understand ur position but i have to say that it would have been better if u would not have responded to any abuse. Islam is a divine guidance for us.
Yes and they want to abuse Pakistan. Just ask them why they want to abuse Pakistan.
And Mr. Bull, u were trying to put poverty as it is an evil. i tell u one thing. u might have heard about Allama Iqbal our national poet. He says that a nation (not talking about Pakistan but in general) who has Faqr and Ghairat(honour) will never be subdued.
Keep every thing mature.

Tahir, i appreciate your words and also of that poet.

I wasnt speaking abt subduing or evil when speaking abt poverty.i was just stating that we are not a failed state as Munir claims, i just pointed ut the rapid strides we have taken sicne independence in reducing poverty levels.

The indian army plays the spoiler in the Pak/india peace process

Indian army rejects immediate pullout
Once Pakistan authenticates the AGPL withdrawal from Siachin will take place.

.
I don;t think we should blaim one party particular. It is a difficult developmetn for both nations and given the arena where India is not intrested in resistance they want to control the situation. Pakistan would do the same in that situation. The problem is not military but purely political. What does Delhi want... We know what Islamabad wants but we need two to tango.

India cold shoulders Pakistani proposals on confidence building
(DPA)

27 April 2006

ISLAMABAD - India on Thursday cold-shouldered Pakistan’s proposals for redeployment of conventional heavy weapons in the disputed Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Indian refusal came during the daylong talks between officials of the two countries on conventional nuclear confidence building measures (CCBMs), held in Islamabad a day after the discussions on nuclear confidence building Measures (NCBMs).
Pakistani Additional Foreign Secretary Tariq Osman Hyder and joint secretary of the Indian external affairs minister Dilip Sinha led their respective delegations during the talks, which were held as part of their ongoing peace talks, also known as the composite dialogue process.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, the two officials described their talks as “cordial” where they agreed on a number of CBMs.
However, separately speaking to reporters, Hyder said there were some other important CBMs to which India did not agree.
“India refused our proposal on redeployment of heavy conventional weapons, artillery guns and mortars above 120 mm and rockets, outside the (disputed) Kashmir region by Pakistani and Indian armies,” Hyder said.
New Delhi also turned down another Pakistani proposal of not increasing strength of strike formations of the two armies on their international border, saying it was the country’s sovereign right to decide “where they wish to keep them”.
Pakistan and India fought two of their three wars on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute since achieving independence from the British rule in 1947.
Divided by a Line of Control (LoC), India controls two third of Kashmir while the remaining one fourth is administered by Pakistan.
The 520-kilometre LoC is essentially a ceasefire line between the two parts of the Himalayan state, which was opened to a fortnightly Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus shuttle on April 7 last year after more than four decades.
India non-committal
India has so far remained non-committal to several Pakistani proposals including those of no war pact and no first use of nuclear weapons.
However, a senior Indian official KC Singh, who led his country’s delegation at the talks on NCBMs in Islamabad, said on Thursday India would not be the first to use nuclear weapons.
“Let me assure people of Pakistan that India will not be the first to use nuclear weapons and there should be absolutely no danger (in this regard) to our friends in Pakistan,” Singh said after the two days of talks, which failed to finalize a draft agreement on reducing risk of accidental or unauthorized use of nuclear weapons.
Meanwhile, a joint statement issued at the conclusion of talks on CCBMs, said the two sides discussed security concepts to develop measures for confidence building in conventional fields aimed at ”avoidance of conflict.”
Pakistani officials presented a draft agreement for consideration by Indian side on prevention of accidents at sea in order to ensure safety navigation by naval vessels and aircraft.
This was the fourth round of talks on nuclear and conventional CBMs under the ongoing peace talks, which resumed in February 2004 after years of tensions that brought the two South Asian neighbours to the verge of a full-scale war.

The thing is....that no matter we try to befriend the indians...they will always be the ENEMY. Yes , we can try to be civil with them but in the end they will always backstab us. That is what lead to the creation of Pakistan in the first place. Bottom line is ...Pakistan's one and only enemy is...INDIA!

It is unfortunate that you feel this way. As for India, Pakistan is not the main enemy.

Does all the propaganda against Pakistan all over internet and media, and all the things done by RAW means India considers Pakistan it's friend?

.
Its obvious to the rest of the world as well, that indian are OBSESSED with Pakistan. I pity them really, wasting their miserable lives away dreaming about the Sacred Land of Pakistan..the Land of the Indus Valley Civilization.......when they could do more about reducing the AIDS virus in their country or reduce the rampant Poverty they have over there.

That would seem to most as the obvious case. If you read the signs properly, then you will realise that historically we have only reacting to situations imposed on us (1971 was the only exception). Even today we are only reacting, the initiative has always been with you.

Do u mean to say that all what is seen over the internet is the ground situation. How many of the citizens of each countries go online and post their veiws,it wont even make 1%.So dont come to a judgement by seeing what is on the net.

And there is one more thing to clarify, when we say u r not our enemy it could also mean that u r not a capable enemy or we have a bigger enemy than u.got the point???
