3. vedvyasa, "valmiki", bhakt prahlad lived centuries ago, why should i bother with them today. this is 21st century, not some treta yug or dwapar yug. in this yug i see, brahmins give birth to brahmins only, whether that progeny goes on to learn something doesnt matter. whats written 1000s of years ago are clearly not necessarily practiced that way. our textbooks teaches us to tell the truth, do you think everybody abides by that in every way ? unfortunately not.

It is the truth. That lady is irking Hindutva terrorists for decades as she is telling the ugly truths about India. RSS wants Upper caste rule of India. That is problem with you guys. Instead of reading the content (Vedas, Upnishads) which are philosophies of sanatan dharma, you try to read interpreted version from maxmular and think you are an expert on 'hinduism'. With passage of time, certain corruption comes into any religion/ sect. Idea is to use original reference and take the lead.
For your kind information, veda's are not constitution, they are philosophies. Gita is meta education. They are used to generate reference. Smriti's are guidelines made by mind set of person, there are thousands of smritis in India. At least know the meaning of these books, structures and hierarchies.
