India: An isolated Russia's best friend

. .
An isolated Russia's best friend

In its ugliest hour, facing the likelihood of unprecedented sanctions, authoritarian Russia can count on at least one powerful ally: India, the world's largest democracy.
Since when was Russia "authoritarian"??

. . .
russia is isolated ? since when ? i don't think putin will agree on this

.
Russia is not reliable.
Depends who is talking, in perspective of most people in India. Russia, Israel, and France are the only three countries that can truly be called India's allies with Japan taking the fence spot. Russia is the only country that has helped India even through the toughest of times when we were sanctioned to the neck by the international community.

.
Russia is a reliable partner, and america is not. Many Indian will prefer to live and settle in US, its a free country, has democratic values... (compared to russia)
but as a govt, america does not stick with their allies...

Not quite, we don't hate US in India, but there is a sense of distrust towards them when it comes international politics specially considering they have been allied with Pakistan for the longest of time.

America is not a democracy. It's elections are highly controlled between 2 parties which have the same agenda. Only a moron would think America is democracy.

But since Indians are probably the most gullible people on earth, I'm not surprised by such a foolish remark.

There is a reason the Brits conquered 'subcontinent' 100% and Winston Churchill founded modern day India.

We hate the US in China. They are an imperialistic regime that despises anyone that is not bowing to their imperialistic agenda. Most Chinese in America despise America despite living there due to better living conditions.
Indians love imperial countries (UK, France, US, etc), Chinese don't.
That's one of the reasons we have an independent foreign policy and India don't.
That's also one of the reasons we are decades ahead of India in all areas. Indians care too much about what imperial powers think and jump according to how much they say to jump.

Isolated according to Anglo-Saxons and the Anglo-Saxon worshippers.

Even if its Russia that allegedly supplied and aided the rebels who shot the plane down, reprehensible as it may sound, there is no reason why India should ditch a long standing loyal friend. After all, despite Pakistan allegedly (same amount of proof) being responsible for dozens of terror attacks in India and Afghansitan in which 1000's of civilians have been killed, is still treated as a loyal friend by China and an associate by USA. Nothing trumps national interests.. NOTHING...

Well, everyone know India is also responsible spreading terrorism to Pakistan.

He ask if Indian professor member of Taliban.

India just bought 6 more transport planes from Uncle SAM ... double crossing Russia ...

And what plane would you suppose would have bought from Russia, they don't sell Medium transport aircraft, the only one they are planning on is the MTA which is being co developed between India and Russia.

THe point I am making is not about Pakistan sponsoring terror or not, but the fact that by being responsible for civilian deaths, a country does not cease to be another country's friend
