You forget about lakshadweep island I think
Like I said, 12 nautical miles from the coast. Don't think you realize how little that is.
Without ATC clearance no aircraft can enter in the IFR or VFR region
No. Not at all. That link doesn't say anything of the sort either. It is in fact explicitly concerning sovereign Indian airspace as defined by the classes. Do you know what the classes stand for? It also clearly states that in 2 and half classes out of the 4 total you are not subject to ATC clearances. That is inside sovereign Indian airspace. Regardless, the
"clearance" mentioned in the link is a specified flight path provided by the ATC to avoid collisions and maintain safety standards. Like I said, stop posting nonsense. An ATC can only direct the flight and only in order to maintain safety standards in international airspace.
International Airspace, by law, is governed by the same principles as maritime waters, i.e.
no one can dictate anyone from anything in it.
PS: None of this applies to military aircraft.
Without ATC clearance you cant even change your altitude dude. What are you smoking ?
Any FOREIGN "NOT CLEARED" Object will be "Escorted" be it India or pakistan !
I don't say these things lightly but you are clearly illiterate on the matter and the discussion. An FIR does not connote airspace sovereignty. Sovereign airspace ends at 12 nautical miles from the coast as per
international law. ATS is a civil
service provided by designated locations to maintain
safety of commercial and civil flights. An ATC can only exercise its services to the extent of maintaining safety. It cannot deny entry to anyone in international airspace. It is literally a traffic coordinator. The countries of the world have voluntarily agreed to adhere to these ATC clearances so as to maintain that safety for their own aircraft. Military aircraft do not care for these clearances exactly due to this reason. Like I said, we fly military aircraft and missiles in Mumbai's FIR every other day.
FIR /= Sovereign Airspace. In fact, there are sovereign airspaces of certain country's which are handled under another country's FIR.
The reason for the mistaken identity was a clerical error by an official of India's aviation regulator

You seem to be ignorant of things that happened in your own airspace.
You seem to not be intelligent enough to realize that that Indian aircraft had entered sovereign Pakistani airspace......we, OTOH, are discussing international airspace falling under a country's FIR. That is the whole point of the debate.
Lol try to enter Mumbai IFR without request.
Do it every day. In fact, we conduct military maneuvers, military exercises, and even military tests smack in the middle of it. We conduct our missile tests almost exclusively in the Mumbai FIR.
Missile test there are NOTAM issued prior to test if you dont you become rouge
So you don't know what a NOTAM is either.....please stop presenting idiotic nonsense created out of thin air just to placate your insecurities.
A NOTAM is a warning issued to everyone to stay away from that area. India and Mumbai ATC watch quietly from a far while we conduct our business. No NOTAMs are issued for military flights.
You do realize it has to enter Indian waters from your route plan?
No it does not.
