India itself never even existed before 1947 anyway, and even then it would be an insult to call the brave Nepalese as Indians.

maybe buddha was born in nepal but he became buddha from sidharatha(his real name) when he got enlightenment in bodh gaya, bihar, india. from there on he became buddha. if u have no knowledge abt some issues its better to keep quiet.

Buddhism was born in ancient India. Do you know about Bodhgaya ?? It is in Bihar, India most scared place for Buddhism. Nepal was part of India. All Sidhartha education were done in modern India. Every year Millions of Buddhist comes to India specially Bodh Gaya.

Indians are always trying to steal culture from their neighbours, even claiming that the mighty Indus Valley Civilization was theirs, despite it being situated almost entirely on what is now modern day Pakistan. And claiming Buddha as being an Indian despite everyone knowing that he was born in what is now modern day Nepal.

As before, India did not even exist back then, you were just a collection of independent kingdoms who were only united by the British colonialists.
