India abruptly puts off border talks with China

LOL, "possible" $100 billion trade relationship? What's the point of trying to bank on things that might or might not happen in the future? The current Sino-Indian trade is around $60 billion.

In comparison, the current trade between mainland China and the small island of Hong Kong is around $200 billion a year. (China's largest trading partners are Europe, USA and Japan.)

For India, China is your largest trading partner. However that is clearly not true the other way around.

Well if you knew what business means then you'd also know that any money extra is revenue including the trade attempts you make in tiny countries far off.

Good thing is that the likes of you are not there in your government.

I am really happy that the talks are off. Waste of time, waste of money. Just get to the point already.

Haha, you are talking about the same CPC which went head-on against America in the 1950's Korean war, and pushed the USA + 16 of her allies completely out of North Korea.

The same USA which has now become our largest trading partner.

If you think that trade ties are a sure way of stopping war, then you are making the same mistake that Europe did before their World Wars.

 I like the way you guys try to sound all accurate and learned despite getting egg-smeared all over in geo-politics. The comment was specifically to that member and not to you.

If only you could teach the same "wisdom" to your government, you won't have been on a collision course with entire east Asia and most of southern-eastern Asia.

UAE is now India's largest trading partner.

Can't agree more on that part...CPC is playing amateur international politics..only creating trouble for China from across the globe.

Hong Kong? Planning anything there, are you? Ok $60 billion then. Should not bother us, since as you keep pointing out the trade is skewed in your favour. Go on, start something. Prove me wrong. Bluster can get you only this far.

Oh yes, we are 40 years ahead of India in terms of social indicators. So clearly we are doing something wrong in India's eyes. :P

The lag in social progress is much longer. A child’s odds of surviving past their fifth birthday are as bad in India today as they were in China in the 1970s.

LOL, learn from history. India got screwed in 1962 because of the Forward Policy.

If you are confident, then try pissing off the CPC again. Try the same thing once more, the difference is that that China today has an economy that is FOUR times bigger than India's, with commensurate military spending.

.
I think india is ready to go back on Tibet clause that was declared as part of china during traitor BJP regime.India must do away with its one china policy and should recognize Tibet as sovereign country.By the way there is no border dispute between india and china coz there are no border which india shares with china.India's lan borders are with sovereign countries of tibet and Xinjiang. So there is no land dispute.

Good thinking. We will promptly recognize Tamil Nadu, the entire Northeast, Khalistan, Kashmir and West Bengal as independent nations, as well as recognize the Maoist's People's Republic of India, and arm them with weapons. You're welcome to try the same, you know, shipping weapons up the 5 km high Himalayas to sparsely distributed Tibetans, while we just sell into a highly dense, highly populated area.

Bluster is all yours. It's you guys who want to do something. Since according to you there is no real competition, I'm wondering why just stop at bluster? Or is the internet the only place where you guys start things? As for who stands where, we will have to wait & see, will we not? We are not the ones looking for a confrontation, you are. We are just not ready to roll over & play dead. Bluster is too easy, especially when you also claim superiority. Doesn't seem to be working, does it? Time to rework that plan perhaps?

Hahaha read my post again, and learn from history.

During a time when China and India had no hostile relations... India hosted our largest separatist group in 1959, and then started the Forward Policy in 1962. Both of which led to the Sino-Indian war.

If you have the balls then try it again. Just do what your Indian friend said a few posts above:

India must do away with its one china policy and should recognize Tibet as sovereign country.

Except that the Indian Army has already admitted that they are no match for China, and that the gap is increasing every day.

Lol when he looses an argument he tries to diverge the topic to 1962(back stabbing) social indicators..
