India: 8 police officers, including deputy SP, killed in encounter in Kanpur Uttar Pradesh

I doubt it Vikas Dubey has a record of good tactics in killing Indian police. He has at least 60 such cases against him. Welcome to UP gangster world.

He has killed a State minister inside a Police Station as well in past.

This time is bjp government is there... Forget about past.

Look at how many encounter happened after bjp came into the power.

I m telling you, he is running out his life..

What the hell??

Bsp and samajwaadi party and so called secular parties... Are grandparents of these gangsters.

Now they have done their last mistake and game will be overed.

.
Now it explains why the have done a better job than the Indian Army patrol against the Chinese...

Lessons to be learnt by the Indian Muslims on how to get organized, armed and trained to develop strategies and tactics to protect themselves...
Now I am not underestimating Muslim Indians. I know for a fact they are better armed and motivated than the police.

But you know that all these dreaded Muslim gangster fled India when police was given a free hand.

And a genocide is flawlessly executed. Resistance is futile as Hannah Arendt. Fleeing is the only option.

.
UP police should've used their SWAT team instead of sending in under-trained regular police with handguns and Lee-Enfields where the gangsters for sure would be fielding AK's. Even police in the US only send in SWAT teams for such ops despite the gun culture and most regular police being ex-military

Le Enfields are still in use by Indian Police?
You sure you know what you are talking about? or just Steriotyping from 80s Hindi movies?
Pakistani Police use T-56 as standard issue (Variant of AKM), Along with MP5 and G3A3. Bolt Action rifles have been phased out here like more then 3 decades ago i believe.
I think Indian Police uses INSAS as standard issue not lee-enfields.

BTW that was simply bad Intel. The Police force involved in the operation is not to blame here. They went in with what intel was provided to them. And i am pretty sure Indian Police don't use En-Fields in 2020

.
Imagine the outrage if the criminal was an Ansari or Khan.

Stories would have been concocted of ISI links and Jihad. All Muslims would have been vilified as criminals and our resident Sanghis would echo the latest from WhatsApp
Imagine the outrage if the encounter was successful and the goonda was an Ansari or Khan.

The Liberals, Islamist and Pakistanis would be breastbeating about Islamophobia, how secularism is in danger, how innocent boys were named as terrorist. The latest news articles from The Wire would be circulating.

This is not a fantasy but a reality which happens every time. Need I remind you of Batla House encounter where Inspector Manoj Sharma lost his life and the conspiracy theories about it being a fake encounter.

You do know Mumbai police were using Lee Enfields during 26/11 right! While they've been largely phased out, they're still in existence in certain smaller police stations. Also, Insas isn't the standard issue but they've been passed down from the army. Only Police SWAT teams, Anti-Terrorist Squads and other specialized units have access to modern rifles.

While several state police placed orders and received OFB weapons like Amogh carbine, JVPC etc...I'm not aware of UP police going that route.

Also, there is nothing as bad intel. Indian police in general are not well versed in using guns efficiently and there is a reason the SWAT team was formed. If not in scenarios like these where you're dealing with a dreaded gangster, where else would they use such specialized teams?

Seems like the terrorist threat in Pakistan have caused to Police force to become armed to teeth like a paramilitary, Need of the hour. Here even cities like Faisalabad and Gujranwala where terrorist activities have been down to zero you will find Police stations filled with T-56 Rifles, Elite forces with MP5 and G3s. Indian Police not facing such threat like Taliban insurgency could afford not to.

Anyways I am talking about bad Intel because i am aware of one such incident involving my friend in a Counter Terrorism Police Force.
They were given orders for a raid on a Terrorist hide out in a night time operation. They proceeded as ordered. Right before reaching their target just 10 minutes away. They were stopped by the Headquarters. And ordered to Hold.
Turned out that they were fed with wrong Intel. The hide out was well armed and hiding place for dangerous terrorists consisting of multiple houses instead of a single house facilitators and planning outpost as initially reported.
Timely Intel saved lives of servicemen as well as enabled the police to carefully lay out the successful operation with additional units and equipment like Cellphone Jammers, Night vision, Marksmen and Electricity Cutout of the Region, which led to complete neutralization of those pigs and arrest of many with zero police causality a few hours later.
Yes Execution is very vital for any operation,But mostly its all about Intel. The Forces just act as they are ordered.
Even the best of the best of our forces like the armed forces SSG Teams, can succumb to ambushes if Intel is faulty.

The encounter wasn't successful and 8 police officers were slaughtered like pigs and the goonda was a pakka Hindu like you. Now what? Where's the bhakt rage?
Ye Yogi Raj hai. He will be hunted down and slaughtered like a pig. His time is up.

And no you will not see any sanghi crying tears for him because he is a Hindu. Unlike terrorist supporter like you we will not shield him.

A criminal is a criminal. He killed policemen. He will be shot dead
