but whatever they want is entirely up to them and their own decision. We cannot impose our predictions, however accurate, on them. My mom side is Kashmiriractually so I naturally have a soft corner for them folks and at the same time I believe they have yet to decide their own destiny. We cannot force them to join Pakistan.
Let them decide and live with their decision and deal with it.

I have seen Independent Kashmir banners in AJK , saw that myself on my way to Balakot last year .. In 1965 Kashmiri people didn't do anything but instead they betrayed Pakistan, in 1999 they didn't do anything , in 2001-2 stand-off nothing as usual , after 27th Feb nothing .. still hundreds of Kashmiri's are serving in J&K police .

So what should we do who call themselves Pakistanis? We Kashmiris are a confused nation actually we don't really know what we want

I can call myself Pakistani cause I was born here, second you are right we can't live in harmony and peace when a Lot of Kashmiri's are serving in Indian forces so lets see where it all ends . I am not Optimistic

After the abolition of article 370 & 35A in IOK And whatever response Pakistan has shown ( Mostely diplomatic) seems insufficient to satisfy the people of Azad Kashmir. There is a noise of independent Kashmir here on our side.. So many peoples are turning against even Pakistan.. Nationalism is on the rise. People are asking for freedom from both India and Pakistan. There is for sure a sense of betrayal among kashmiris.. People of Azad Kashmir want Pakistan to take some stong ( perhaps military) action against India which could satisfy the emotions of people.. The most popular slogan these days among the kashmiris is.. " Shah rag kat'ti rhe aur jism sota rha"

Although these voice are rare and less powerful but there is a trend at ground level. People around me are even abusing me for supporting Pakistan.. Many of my friends and family members are now in favour of an independent Kashmir Sometime I remain the only one in favour of Pakistan.. I will be the saddest Person if majority votes for independent state at the end. I hope it never happens..

My Question is that could this be a dangerous trend?? Can this pave the way for an independent movement on this side of kashmir? And should Pakistan do something to win the trust of kashmiris back??

Kashmir doesn't posses any power or influence to compaign for freedom of other side in the world.. All we can do is to stage a protest.. Whatever is to be done is upto Pakistan.

Indian agents in Azad Kashmir in our bankrupt political establishment are brainwashing people with these slogans. They are doing this to delegitimize Pakistan’s right to Kashmir and Kashmiris’ rights to join Pakistan.

Indian Occupied Kashmir is fully united to merge with Pakistan now. There is no second opinion.

In this case, Indian options are becoming slimmer by the day.

ISI, Pak Fauj, and PTI is doing great work fighting back against these measures. We will ramp up pressure on India and make it unbearable for them.

There was an entire operation launched called operation Gibraltar that could have freed Kashmir if only Kashmiris wanted to help. Instead they caught Pakistani troops and handed them over to india...

What do you want us to do? What capacity we have to do anything? Does Pakistani constitution allow us to create another army?? We don't have that much resources to build an army which could challenge India.. Only thing that we can do is to provide menpower to Pakistan army and that happening.

I know that. But now situation is different in IOK at this moment most of the people in kashmir are anti India.

I'm all for the independence of Kashmir, if that's what is decided by Kashmiris in referendum.

I also think Pakistan should hold a referendum in both Azad Kashmir and GB under UN and international monitoring. Let the UN and international community along with Kashmiris set up everything and hold referendum while Pakistani troops guard the cease fire line.
