Incredible India - Tourism places

Regional accents are nice. I appreciate them as I too have an accent compared to someone from Lucknow. We should celebrate these accents as they are speaking in a link language. I find it amusing to hear Rajasthani and MP people settled here in Sikkim speak Nepali and Bhutia. It sounds like Hindi but is not.

If everybody spoke the same way and looked the same way, we won't be as celebrated and proud of our diverse regional attributes now and would be grey and dull like Europe isn't it? I mean those who have visited one part of central Europe can easily skip a lot of other countries in the same region.

Where's the fun in that?

Prabhas' has heavy Telugu accent even when he speaks English. I know many Telugu people who do not speak in that accented tone. This would limit opportunities for him outside of Telugu/South industry.

Had the pleasure in acquainting with a number of very humble friends of Kerala and other Southern Indian States. Highly educated,hard working,polite and well mannered race.

Our sothern countrymen are friendly and warm people who have good manners.

We are very welcoming to them whenever they come for tourism in my state and in northeast in general. They respect the rules and are polite. They don't throw garbage around which is a strict no-no in my city. Plastics are banned in many areas of Sikkim where southern Indians take initiative to keep the law and order.

And their food is amazing too.

Prabhas' has heavy Telugu accent even when he speaks English. I know many Telugu people who do not speak in that accented tone. This would limit opportunities for him outside of Telugu/South industry.

If Katrina Kaif, Nargis Fakhri etc can (horribly) act with that horrible Hindi in Bollywood, Prabhas, Anushka and Tamannah are any day superior.

Bollywood doesn't have class acting and are more about skin-show.

Southern movies are about great stories, amazing direction and flawless execution of the script.

As someone fron northeast India, I can relate as we have decent movies here as well.

I saw Baahubali 1 and 2 and was impressed with their acting; pure talent and skill right there. No unnecessary expressions, no self-indulgence commonly seen in Bollywood movies nothing. Just pure acting, following script and very natural.

I must say, after this, my respect for southern Indian movies has increased multi-fold.

If Katrina Kaif, Nargis Fakhri etc can (horribly) act with that horrible Hindi in Bollywood, Prabhas, Anushka and Tamannah are any day superior.

Luckily, things have started changing post 2012 and we have been getting some quality cinema from Bollywood since then. Most of the Indians who discuss Bollywood have no idea what they are talking about and speak the language of Pakistanis by saying, its all skin show and no content. It was just a period of 2008-12 when Bollywood degraded, before and after we have and are producing some of the best contents in Asia.

For example just in the year 2016 Bollywood gave some of the amazing movies. I have listed a few below.

Dangal, Airlift, Dear Zindagi, Sultan, MS Dhoni, Pink, Udta Punjab, Neerja, Rustom, Kapoor & Sons, Wazir, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Azhar

Yes, I liked the movie. It made me cry I watched it thrice in theater.
Though I know many who did not like this movie

There are many
Ustad hotel,iyobintepustakam,ayalum kjanum thammil, banglore days, drishyam,Jacobite swargarajyam....All Malayalam movies are closer to reality with no cheap stunts,no unrealistic fight scenes or songs..
A recent movie takeoff which is now running in theatres is awesome and shows the the hardships faced by Indian nurses who were caught in the Iraq crisis in 2014 you should watch it on theatres if you can the movie was almost completely shot abroad and it's such an awesome movie

The speciality of Bollywood is that it is larger than life and goes beyond nitty gritties of grim day to day reality. It is aspirational as well as doubles up as our phenomenally successful music industry too.
I don't know why Bollywood should aim to be like French movie industry or Iranian movie industry which are reality based and frankly not a fraction as popular as Bollywood. People who want to see reality can watch reality shows or watch Iranian, French, Polish movies during the various film festivals. Why should Bollywood aim to be lesser than what it is?

True Bollywood should start producing reality based movies its such a Shame that such a big film industry like Bollywood never makes its way into international film festivals or fails to recieve any award
And all the many movies lack variety and are of similar story lines

I don't know what do we mean by reality based movies. Should we start producing documentary style movies like Iranian or French do just so we can get some international accolade? Who defines whats real? What is relatable to me might not be for someone else, for example Dear Zindagi was so much relatable to me but might not be for others. Dangal, Rustom, Airlift are all reality based movies. Would we call the movie Pink far from reality? No.
I don't know why people say bollywood does not produce reality based movies. Do we need to produce slumdog millionaire kind movies to be called reality based and win Oscars? Don't fall for western hypocrisy and standards.
