Never-the-less, tryth must always be told; and never held back. J&K, S Tibet and Akshai Chin have been disputed territories for long causing great slaughter of human life.

Sure go ahead.

Things spoke at the right time & place make an impact. There are more than enough threads here to lament on what is irretrievably lost to your former masters. Blabbering out of context in a wonderful thread on a different subject serves no purpose.

Is that photo at the bottom marble statue of a Wadyar? This family were boot-lickers of the British who re-installed them in Mysore after wiping out Hyder Ali-Tipu Sultan's descendants from Mysore.

You are missing a point there British were controlled south india from Madras or Chennai and that area got preference over everything especially water. Karnataka & Kerala still suffering for water till date due to construction during British Raj which were one sided. Even though they were boot-lickers they saved some water for Karnataka through their good dewans otherwise there would have no water for Karnataka.

The point you are missing is that Hyder Ali - Tipu Sultan were the bravest of the brave, absolute patriots and died fighting to keep their kingdom free. But they were Muslims for which the current Hindu Indian admin, to whom the British had "transferred powers", deliberately neglect them. Instead Wadyars, like all stooges, are celebrated.

If Hyder or Tippu succeeded to defend mysore from British then Karnataka would have not in this shape it would have became poorest state of India. They gave little importance to development of whole Mysore Kingdom instead all developments were concentrated to Srirangapattana and around areas. unlike Wodyars who appointed Diwans who did great works and concentrated on equal development of all the areas belonging to Mysore Kingdom which we are enjoying today.

Hyder Ali was Dalavi of Mysore Rule and became de facto ruler and didn't died on battle field unlike Tippu Sultan who was took over as ruler of Mysore and died fighting against British and its allies.

Tippu was back stubbed by Muslims and they also played huge role in his downfall and initially Tippu was against Casts other than Muslims he had killed, tortured and forced Islamisation was done but as he lost territories and childrens his attitude changed, he tried to make peace with Hindus by granting funds to different hindu temples in order to gain their support but by that time everything was over and he was at his most vulnerable period.

After death of Tippu British took over the Mysore Kingdom and appointed Wodeyars initially as they are minor's and incapable and Diwans used to take care of state affairs but as the years moved they became good rulers.
