Well our military is not used as a conquering force rather it is used to defend the country from foreign armies. So yea i think our military is doing its job well, both in protecting our nation (like not loosing any land to other nations) and not becoming an oppressive force for other nations.

I do not think Bangladesh and india are 2 sides of the same coin. Sure some of our cultural practices are similar with certain ethnic groups, but in geopolitics Bangladesh and India have different needs and wants therefore our ideology, doctrine and politics are different.

The ideology he was referring to was the sheltering of refugees, which india extended it to us in 1971 and how we are extending it to rohingya in the current situation.
