Lol....do you see Europeans running around with Roman maps or even maps with Western European colonial empires? Grow up dude.
Yeah actually they do and I bet you are one of them too. Most of the Europeans I came across through the net has some weird "Roman" and "European superiority (!)" fetish. Personally I do think that Europeans have this weird habit more than us Muslims. There are some people among us that has a map fetish as well but most of us does not care about it as much as the Europeans actually.

Always are sore point for Europeans, but this map makes me very happy.
Lets not just look at Ottomans. Selçuks whooped the crusaders as well as Zengids and other Turkish kingdoms.

Also regarding the map, it actually grew more after Süleyman. The significance wasn't its size, it was the cities it had. Holding İstanbul is more important than all of Congo and Zimbabwe etc etc having Cairo, Jerusalem, Baghdad, Crimea, Mecca Medina(which was importnat before), access to nearly all the major sea ways and various chokepoints, and most important cities in the world and all the major religious sites except for Rome. The only jewel that was missing was Rome.

You can bet all you want, but I never paraded maps in here to troll people with what other men did centuries ago....in pdf it's always been a fetis of muslims yearning for past times

I agree on the yearning but you cannot deny what I have said earlier. Yes we do yearn a lot actually but we never have some weird map fetish as much as the Europeans... Instead we care about the current situation more and discuss what we should do or have done. But that is common among every civilization and religion as well...
