Imho its more than a rumor, it was mentioned here in Dutch newspaper aswell.
He's said to get $50-100 mille a month for lectures and PR work.

Benazir used to do the same while she was in exile cashing between $30-150 K per lecture!

Making an income off books, lectures and public appearances is almost standard for most ex statesman/stateswoman.

I'm sure Musharraf would have a large market abroad for his books and lectures, and it would be surprising if he didn't cash in on it.

I mean the guy has to stay busy and make a living.

There is no doubt that Mr Mush as an intellectual. He was sharp, bold and had been making use of hi brain to the utmost(unlike most of his counterparts). There's no doubt that intelligent institutions and savvy people who know how to make use of a valuable resource would definitely make use of Sir Mush and ofcourse in turn he is supposed to be paid.

I have faith in people..........a few elections down the road and the public will stop voting by emotions.
I would love to see musharaff stand for election.....i think he would do okay.
