Therein lies the the problem of your nation state, shirking responsibility and delegation of the same on your tax paying citizens. Providing basic and affordable health care should be the job of your federal and state governments, these things as well as public infrastructure like dam building should not be run on charity money. Perhaps the hands of your government are tied too as you folks don't pay your taxes.

Lol true, he is just BS'ing around. Public health service in India, though not adequate considering our immense population, is still robust and the treatment for most major and minor illness including cancer is covered under various schemes of the Centre and respective states

Ok, i believe you. But what you say about cancer is a blatant lie. For example, chemotherapy and cancer medications running in thousands/lakhs in my state Assam are provided free of cost by the state government, radiotherapy/surgical interventions facilities are also available in cancer speciality hospitals and medical colleges as are referral services to other institutes. Other states/Centre have their own schemes too. Maybe she was trying to scam you?

Because I have plenty of examples from my state. How we categorically destroyed our small scale industries our agriculture etc... because of unnecessary trade union issues, how our shipping port suck big time because of union issues and why most of our men left to Gulf and other places around the world for job how we are one of the most unemployed state. That's with 50% communism in our history. Look at West Bengal, or ask the Bengalis who come to our state looking for job.

Also, I will mention the fate of thousands of IBM-India employees who were ruthlessly removed in early 2014. But it was the fault of these employee because they had not priorly unionised themselves. No union = no one to fight for rights.

If the business is down, how do you expect the company to pay it's employees? Or under performing people, who will simply drag those companies.

Tell me why BSNL, HAL etc... sucks big time? They have too much irrelevant employees, government pay them even if they are incompetent fools just because they passed the test to be there. They can't be fired en masse because unions will go strike and bring the company further down. There are unions in the US too, why you don't see such an issue there?

I acknowledge the existence of people like Elon Musk in USA, but that is the exception than the norm.

TATA and Ambanis are largest tax payers as corporate. They have hundreds of thousands of employees who pay taxes, so all these amounts to billions of dollars of capital which our government investment in all the different welfare schemes or other projects. Elon Musk is good for you because he appear in twitter, smoke weed, make jokes. He is good but there are equally good ones around the world.

Why not ?? Look at Libya. Until 1969 it was a petro-rich country with a poor population ruled by a king who was a puppet of Europe. And then there came the September Revolution of Gaddafi which brought the population to live good standard of living.

Sure, he spend the wealth amassed by the Kings and started distributing it. What it has to do with India a democracy. I'm not saying all capitalists are good, there are predatory ones too, but the vast majority of them are necessary and we need more and more corporate for creating wealth. We don't need communism, at least yet.
