In Chinese trading town, disputes and strains fuel mistrust of India

Does calling Indian (actually Yemenis) a fraud will change Chinese Business ethic reputation in world?

Chinese business actually have quite good reputation worldwide, much better than Indian ones. China's world trade volume speaks for itself.

.
It is stupid to do business with credit business with Indians to start with. Never give Indians credit. Ask for full cash upfront, period. Indians lie and boast it is no secret in the business community. They have no honor.

That's what the world says about the Chinese.

Trade volume is not good scale to measure Chinese reputation. Chinese trade volume is more attributed to available verity and volume to support instantaneous demand and it does not makes you the better in terms of business ethics.

Please spend some time to go and visit China and see how many MNCs have Chinese management (at least finance control).
How many MNCs keep their Ip related info on China? I came across some companies they do not allow their Chinese employees to access Ip related info.

PS: Even today Chinese are happy to do business with so called fraud (your interpretation) Indians. Only complaint they have is Indians Squeezes the price to the max and that not bad in any sense.

India's Commonwealth Games bills still not paid

Ric Birch does not want to work in India again

Payment outstanding

The final straw for Ric is the fact that he still has not been paid. He says he is owed $350,000 (£225,000) and the Indian government has not told him why he has not received his money.

"They don't answer correspondence, they've changed their phone numbers, they've changed their email address," he told me. "It's a rogue action."

Ric is not the only one in this situation.

According to a list compiled by foreign governments, of the 32 international contractors employed to help run the games, only two have been paid in full.

Their experience seems to support a recent World Bank survey which found that India was one of the hardest places in the world in which to do business, coming a lowly 134th out of 183 countries.

"I'll be very happy to ignore India," he tells me. "There are plenty of other places where they pay their bills."

Don't work, who want you? We can get our work done by others.

.
I have always asked my Indian buyers to pay 100% upfront. When I buy from Indians I always pay only after the delivery has arrived and verified. I rather do it safe than risking losing any money.

Yeah whatever, maybe you are scammer yourself. Regardless, don't come to China and think that you can get away with your scamming tricks. Keep it inside India. If you scam a foreigner in India, I'd blame the foreigner for being stupid to visit in the first place.

It seems the 50 cent army is in full force justifying a despicable action by their countrymen.

I think the traders ultimately learnt the lesson that like Chini Maal , Chini will also bite you in the end. Be Indian, buy Indian...it may cost a few hundred or thousand more but ultimately you are helping your nation prosper.

Special report: The shorts who popped a China bubble | Reuters
.
Some have never even been to China; most
don't speak or read Chinese. And yet in the past
nine months, this small group of "short sellers"
has published research exposing accounting
fraud at a series of Chinese companies listed in
the United States and Canada, and made as yet
unproven allegations against a whole bunch
more.
.
.
Altogether, they have been the catalyst that has
wiped more than $21 billion off the market value
of Chinese companies listed in North America.
The sell-off has led to big losses for some very
prominent investors, including hedge fund
manager John Paulson and former AIG CEO
Maurice "Hank" Greenberg.

U.S. trade policy: America's unequal trade relationship with China - Los Angeles Times

China's manufacturing advantage over the U.S. is actually due to a complex array of unfair trade practices, all of which are illegal under free-trade rules.

You guys talk as if everything that happens in China is according to rules. Its pretty ridiculous. Have you ever been to China? Chinese are as corrupt, cunning and cutthroat as Indians if not more.

Have YOU been to China? Just look around, and compare to any city in India. Do people on the bus in India get up for the elderly and for pregnant women? Do people on the bus in India give priority seating to young children?

Sorry, Indians and Chinese are not even at the same level.
