Yes, despite higher GDP than india, the 30 million sq.km continent hosts natural reserves at a whole different league, they are already major exporters in say oil & minerals to China. As infrastructure (hard and soft e.g. hospotals, libraries), SEZ (a lot more coming, Chinese companies will continue offshoring manufacturing jobs), are implemented hopefully illiteracy & poverty could be improved, hence promoting social stability of the continent.

On topic, for developers the mission is to convert the continent into another China of at least 2010's level (complete infra, industry 1.0~2.0), so that the homeland can move on to vision 2025 i.e. advanced infra, industry 3.0~4.0.
