One may take all the superior nationalist, ethno - cultural stances, or play blame games, but the only truth is what that child’s tears state - say that we have all failed as human beings.

Should be balkanized for their own good. It's obvious they can't manage on their own.

Said the guy from Pakistan...

Reality is that Afghanistan is improving day by day. Low corruption, record exports, record government revenues (without increased taxes and customs), important infrastructure investments, sustainable growth, healthy job creation. A lot of things are going in the right direction.

Your country however is a complete joke right now. You'd be better of with a TTP government.

This 28 million starving is a bullshit number. Also this video is old. Yes, food insecurity is still high (which it also was under the previous government) but things are improving rapidly and things are already a lot better than last year. Thing is that the current government took over a mess the previous corrupt, criminal and aid-dependent government had created. We need 2-3 years to establish complete food security. Qosh Tepa canal will be a great step forward in this regard.

True.
A crucial requirement for progress is peace. And Afghanistan has that now after two decades. If I recall correctly, Scott Ritter or Colonel Black was saying in a video a few days ago that the moment 'we' (the Americans) got out, there is peace in Afghanistan.
Best of luck to you Afghans! But don't bash Pakistan because of some people's views here. It is a 'defense' forum and people can be jingoistic.

I didn't mean to bash Pakistan or the people of Pakistan - both I respect and hold dearly.

However, I am saddened by the state your country. Your useless leadership is about to sink a great nation. I hope you're able to recover from this and get a just leadership that puts the people and nation first.

100% correct.

Good luck to Afghanistan. If you can read Vietnamese novels, you would see that Vietnam after 1975 was a lot like Afghanistan right now, with a lot of difficulties and people were desperate for leaving en mass, but thing wil change for the better slowly. You cannot expect a country after 30 years of continuous wars, without much natural resouces, to be civilized and decent immediately.

Viet Nam has truly done something remarkable and I am constantly surprised by your continued growth. You guys have something great going for you and your region (ASEAN) seems to be a bright spot in a troubled continent.

Unlike Viet Nam, Afghanistan does have a lot of natural resources, which could kick-start our revival. However, we must be cautious of the resource trap.
