UN gave the coordinates of the school (used as a shelter of unarmed civilians) to israel n still they bombed it? A UN ambulance which israel claimed was carrying militant was also targetted .. later the israeli media apologised for the fake story...

This is my last post with you on this topic.

Irrelevant if the school, hospital, or place of worship is long term vacant or temporarily unoccupied. Regardless of charges from one side and rebuttals from the other, as long as the structure is recognized by all as having a non-military utility, any usage of that structure outside of that utility endangers all similar structures, hence, placing all civilians under retaliatory threats.

In the usual circumstances I would be inclined to agree with you. If for example India and Pakistan went to war, the bombing of cities etc would be acceptable in wartime conditions even though that has never happened and God willing will never happen. The Gaza - Israel conflict is however a different scenario. Nobody is questioning Israel's right to defend itself against rocket launches etc. Israel has virtual control over the Gaza strip. It decides who enters or leaves and can shut down the Gaza strip within 24 hours. It can and has militarily entered the Gaza area at will. The cluster bombing of civilians is therefore tantamount to the scenario I gave you earlier about the weaker guy giving you a slap. Israel is simply being unneccassarily brutal in its reaction for the simple reason that it has the military power to do so. Their collective punishment policy is a crime against humanity

Hamas is just as bad, I imagine if your in the vicinity of an Israeli airstrike and Hamas people are nearby they will probably be an equal foe if you try to escape. They care little for life and would rather more civilian deaths so that they world can see their plight.

It would seem through various tunnels or bunkers leading into both Egypt and Israel. I simply cannot understand why Israel permits those tunnels to exist. The Israelis have enough firepower to blow up those tunnels. From my limited knowledge of the subject (news reports and internet articles), it would seem that these tunnels are also important routes for the import of food and medicines into Gaza. Perhaps Israel turns a blind eye to the tunnels for that reason.
