My view (in a nutshell) is this.
No one is a farishta.. Everyone has his good/bad
This is US war. But we have become part of it. (on Uncle Sam orders/dollars obviously). AQ/AT/TTP are all anti US (doesnt mean I like them) and in doing so, have become anti-pak (esp ttp/aq) as well (since we are us allies).

you also over-looked something significant, which surprises me...even TTP is crumbling into different factions - so forget about TTP and Afghan taleban.

the Afghan taleban dont even have any global jihadi ambitions; for example they arent working with Uyghur militants or Chechens. That's why you wont find many foreign militants in Afghanistan, save for Pashtun tribesmen who cross over from Pakistan time to time to fight.

Many have joined Taliban Army needs to work fast to revive Industry in Swat other wise they will be back even in NW you haven't arrested an major leader and ret.. Like you laughed in Iraq too when they threw out Al Qaeda and now they are dealing with ISIS so keep laughing soon you will face something bigger than TTP

the Afghan Taleban/former Islamic Emirate govt. of A-stan has many active and former members on record having condemned TTP...disowned their activities too

when Hakimullah Mehsud (deceased) declared his loyalty to Mullah Omar, the latter shunned him. Same is the case with "Mullah" Fazlullah, who is currently hiding somewhere in Afghanistan wearing women's clothing and operationally weak.

And that makes Mullah omar a hero?
