After banning Reis Erdo'an from politics and removing him from the mayor-ship of Istanbul in 1997 they didn't forget to put him in the jail for 3 months too! And, it made him a undisputed national leader!! And, his party, whose de facto leadership belonged to him, swept in 2002 election with a single majority. The rest is history....

Looking at this from a macro level, the movement is beyond personality.
It is about all institutions being under the law of the state. Establishment, Judiciary, Politicians.
The establishment better open its eyes and voluntarily give up its power while it has some semblance of respect left, otherwise it looks increasingly likely they will be stripped naked and at one point in time the establishment will be doing irreparable damage to the army as a whole.
If the establishment are really serious, they’d call in politicians and discuss a marshall plan to give up their overreaching power.
The status quo is untenable. The blinders have been removed. More than half of Pakistan is absolutely convinced it is not just the politicians that have led to Pakistan of today. The establishment is equally responsible if not more.
Trust me, today Pakistan is fighting TTP, tomorrow Pakistan will be fighting the same Taliban. Mark my words.
They are khwariji dogs. All of them. AQ, ISIS, TTP, Taliban.
The fence is the best thing that has happened to Pakistan. Next step is to get rid of Afghan Transit Trade, and keep applying proper pressure on these wild dogs. I am not saying all out war, but apply pressure when needed to show them their place. These are not a civilized bunch we are talking about here.
