I have already presented my argument over this matter for countless times so please stop quoting me unnecessary. It is not my fault if you have failed to read my post in similar threads

Ps: I defended PTI when analysts were claiming the decrease in PTIs popularity after the local body elections as I believe both elections are of different scale and should not be correlating to each other

In this case PTI also should not correlate local body elections of grass root level with General Elections of National and International level importance. Your stock exchange may jump or slide by 10% overnight depending on the result of General election and in contrast it would not move a single digit depending on the result of local body elections. So what Imran Khan is saying is a pure politics and should not be taken as a political tatic. Election is not a joke and each election costs billions of rupees. I know it doesn't matter to PTI much as they already made Pakistan loose billions of rupees thanks to anarchy march but most people don't take such claims seriously. If you have held elections for once, what is the logic of repeating the same practice. Even if there are flaws in the system, you gotta rectify those mistakes and improve your system rather than continuing to play the repeat game of the same episode. The local body election saga caused at least 8 deaths and several people were injury. It is like spitting in their face for redoing the whole election process from scratch.

As for re-election, Imran Khan check-mated PMLN, JUI-F, PPP, ANP - all at the same time by his offer. Pakistan is losing billions everyday to corruption, incompetence, you name it. Re-election would be the least 'waste' of money by any means.

The logic of repeating elections is to silence those who raise unnecessary hue and cry regarding rigging - well if you claim its rigged, let's do it again under Army supervision but none of these other political parties have got the political stock worth the salt to stand up and be counted when the moment of truth comes. They are still living in 1990s mentality.

Flaws in the system can only be rectified when the ECP is overhauled.

Its amazing that PPP ANP JUI-F are arying hoarse about rigging but are not willing to apply the same formula at national level.

If Imran does go after re-poll proactively, chances are these parties will be clean bowled. Their assumed righteousness will be nothing more than hot air.
