Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that peace could be established in Karachi if the police is depoliticized.
Speaking to media on Saturday, he said that majority of the Taliban militants wanted peace.
He said that 6000 operations were carried out over the last 10 years. The PTI chairman claimed that people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were happier than the citizens of other three provinces.
Imran Khan said that his party lawmakers didn't win due to their personal reputation instead they got the seats due to PTI.

He is correct in saying "majority of the Taliban militants wanted peace", but he forgot to add "on their terms only".

And that is where the problems arise.

. . .
This man has lost his marbles.

No, he is quite shrewd in trying to protect his own power base in KPK. The pity is that NS is trying to do the same in protecting his power base in Punjab. That leaves PPP in Sindh, MQM in Karachi and nobody in Baluchistan.

When the realization sinks in that there is no national political force, except the Army, all eyes will turn towards it once again, to more long term damage to the ship of State. However, this time around, the Army may not be able to handle it all.

. .
I can't imagine if this man was the Prime Minister right now. We are so lucky that this delusional man lost the elections, but the problem is that the other party that is soft on the TTP (PMLN) has won, so there shall still be trouble.
