a few points:

the letter that Imran Khan waived is an indication that the establishment is on PMIK's side. There is no way in hell he could've gotten that letter without our agencies' involvement.

accept for the one man tanga party jwp, no other members of the coalition government have announced any decision about joining the pdm mixed achar party. That shows that the 1 million plus crowd has scared them, they see their political future in the limbo without Imran Khan. now they need to decide if they will go for the unguaranteed short term benefits by switching to pdm or if they want to gain long term benefits by staying with the Imran Khan and working on the same salary.

I don't know who's side they are on. I hope they are "neutral" in the next elections as everyone claims these days. An interesting observation: could the logistical exercise of moving people from across Pakistan into Islamabad be possible without their nod/support? Nawaz Sharif attempted it a few years ago and ran over a poor kid with his car. Turned out to be a mini jalsi.

Imran Khan is the Faqir Ipi of our time. He has the freedom streak left of him. He is fighting to break the chains of imperialism and colonialism. Just like Faqir Ipi it is one man AGAINST ALL.

I've lost faith in the army. IK can't hope to compete against the establishment and win. The establishment is the real criminal here, not zardari, not the Sharifs. The establishment did this to Pakistan. And for that the establishment will be held accountable, not in this world of course but in the Afterlife. I will not forgive them for throwing Pakistan in this inferno just to stay the king maker.

Disinformation is an important tool of any conflict. Even in a simple game of cards you bluff, until you dont. All sides bluff. Thats how it is. You cant jump to conclusions that easily. I think armed forces are not anti Imran. But they wont be helping him out openly either. There is a change in Pakistan's politics when 1st time there is a competent leader and establishment wants him to fight things out himself. Fair enough, establishment should not be involved in politics. The better fight IK puts out, the stronger Pakistani politics becomes. Organic progress is better than a poultry chicken kind of progress.
