My observation about Pakistan from Geo-Strategic point of view. The chances of Imran Khan to lead the state since the Pro-Indian and west supporter Nawaz Sharif has lost the case and No-more in the list. Imran Khan is a hard-liner & very aggressive against the West when it comes to "Pakistan". West don't want him to be Prime Minister of Pakistan (One and only Islamic country having powerful nuclear weapons, power packed Armed forces and the population).
He and Asad Umar, these two guys are enough to deter India and the United States in terms of diplomacy as well as Imran has capability to work closely with the General Headquarter like US government with the Pentagon. This is Pakistan's current requirement that we need people in the government and the military who has no personal grudges and work closely to counter threats to the national security.
If you see from Pakistan's perspective, after the removal of Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan is going smooth towards the direction what we need especially Imran who is purely represent Pakistan since long time and also much aware about how to deal with the international media. Without getting tips from the foreign office, his long career as a sportsman he knows how to tackle the situation because of his long political struggle and standing in international particular west (UK and USA) diplomatic arena. West want to neutralize Imran and co before he will approach to the point where Pakistan will hit the enemy hard.
Imran is deadly, I repeat he is deadly but Asad Umar is more deadly than Imran. Imran is hawkish, Asad is diplomatic you can say. Both not suitable for the west. Both are Pro-Pro I must say Pro Pakistani and ready to compromise everything when it comes to Pakistan that is the main issue for the west particular United States.
Pakistan is only lacking in diplomacy and foreign relations. NS and Zardari damage Pakistan even more than INDIA and the United States.
