Regular and orderly transitions of power from one government to the next by elections is the best way to lay the foundations of a modern state. There is no doubt about what I have said.

IK is praising Qadri ever since his appearance in Long March against PPPP Govt. How can you say this is first time he is shaking hand with him. Going by your logic IK is bigger idiot then Qadri. So now we are back to total denial of legally mandated due process. Why is it that only PTI is supposed to be taken as the only arbiters of the election? Even in a totally fair election, PTI could never have won enough seats to form a central government.

What you are referring to is incompetence, but it is no reason to derail the regular electoral process. Zardari was kicked out for his corruption and incompetence. If NS does not deliver, he will be kicked out too. Slowly, the process takes hold and elected officials know to deliver on their promises or be booted out by the people. That is the best way to create institutional foundations and the rule of law. It will not happen overnight.

The point remains that the elections were carried out and certified by the constitutional body mandated for this purpose, and it did its job as best as it could. Even if the roles between IK and NS were reversed, we would still see the same picture. That is Pakistan, and it will not change for the foreseeable future.
