ہ 1998 کی بات ھے، مصر میں مشہور ڈانسر فیفی عبدو کا طوطی بولتا تھا،حکومتی ایوانوں سے بزنس کلاس تک سب فیفی کے ٹھمکوں کی زد میں تھے۔ قاہرہ کے ایک فائیو اسٹار ہوٹل میں اپنے جلوے دکھانے کے بعد فیفی نے شراب پینے کیلئے بار کا رخ کیا ،شراب زیادہ پینے کی وجہ سے وہ اپنے ہوش کھو بیٹھی اور بار میں ہنگامہ کھڑا کر دیا، ہوٹل میں وی آئی پیز کی سکیورٹی پر مامور پولیس آفیسر فوراً وہاں پہنچ گیا،اس نے بڑے مودبانہ انداز میں فیفی سے کہا کہ آپ ایک مشہور شخصیت ہیں اس طرح کی حرکتیں آپ کو زیب نہیں دیتی۔ یہ آفیسر خوش مزاجی اور خوش اخلاقی کیلئے مشہور تھا اس ہوٹل میں قیام کرنے والی اہم شخصیات انہیں پسند کرتی تھیں، وہ ایک فرض شناس آفیسر تھے۔ فیفی کو پولیس آفیسر کی مداخلت پسند نہ آئی اس نے نشے کی حالت میں ھی اعلیٰ ایوانوں کا نمبر گھمایا اور پولیس آفیسر کا کہیں دور تبادلہ کروا دیا۔ اگلی شام جب فیفی کا نشہ اترا اس نے ہوٹل انتظامیہ سے پولیس آفیسر کے متعلق پوچھا اسے بتایا گیا کہ آپ نے اس کا تبادلہ کروا دیا ھے فیفی نے فون گھمایا سرکار نے پولیس آفیسر کو واپس ہوٹل رپورٹ کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ پولیس آفیسر نے پولیس سے متعلقہ وزیر کو اپنا استعفیٰ پیش کر دیا۔ ان دنوں وجدی صالح وزیر ہوتے تھے وزیر نے حیرت سے پولیس آفیسر سے پوچھا کہ اس ہوٹل میں ڈیوٹی کرنے کیلئے پولیس آفیسر بڑی بڑی سفارشیں کرواتے ہیں آپ کو دوسرا موقع ملا لیکن آپ استعفیٰ پیش کر رھے ہیں؟ پولیس آفیسر نے تاریخی جواب دیا۔ "جس ملک میں ایک شرابی عورت کے اشارے پر ٹرانسفر اور ایک رقاصہ کے حکم پر واپسی ہو اس ملک میں کسی غیرت مند کا رہنا عار اور عیب ھے" ۔ چند ماہ بعد اس آفیسر نے مصر ھی چھوڑ دیا۔ یہ صرف مصر کی کہانی نہیں ھے یہ میرے ملک کی بھی کہانی ھے۔ یہاں بھی ،، کنجر ،، اتنے ہی با اختیار ھیں ۔۔۔ مریم کی یہ تصویر دیکھ کر آج مصر کی وہ طوائف " فیفی عبدو " یاد آ رہی ہے جس کے گھنگرو کی کھنک سے مصر کے ریاستی ادارے ناچتے تھے۔ اُسکی مرضی سے ٹرانسفر ہوا کرتے تھے اسکی مرضی سے گرفتاریاں ہوا کرتی تھیں ۔ اور آجکل ایوانِ بالا میں اسی حرّافہ “ مریم نواز” کی طوطی بول رہی اور سب تماشائی اور بے بس ہیں ۔
