They are disproportionate for the size - especially Lt Gens. I think i did a detailed post on it a few months ago. The US has more generals but they actively recognize this as a problem

2 Generals, 29 Lieutenant Generals, and 187 Major Generals of them 42 are from Medical Corps so shouldn't be counted. Either way its a lot more than needed.

Pakistan army have total around 230 generals which 187 two stars 27 three stars and 2 four stars
US army have 17 Four stars and 50 three star generals


Pakistan have total of 4 four stars officers 2 in army 1 AF and Navy each
USA have 44 Four star officers
