Imran Khan will fail to reform Pakistan

I request all our fellow Pakistanis to stop spreading negativity not just here on this forum but also in their daily social lives. I respect all parties. Please put aside your political differences and have a positive attitude towards your country. Positivity attracts positivity and vice versa. Imran Khan is our elected Prime minister and quite frankly does hold promise and we must support him on every forum. Wouldn't say the same about Asad umer but thats another debate.

Time will tell if he succeeds or not, but if we gave zardari and Nawaz a chance, lets give Khan some space as well.

Your while argument is built on Nawaz Suwar oops I meant Sharif (honest slip of tongue) worked tirelessly day and night for Punjab while IK only did dharna politics and did nothing for KPK but in 2018 elections his party won 2/3 majority in KPK. Thanks for destroying your own logic.

Munnay find your level and play within it.

Most of elections where people were kept out from voting Nawaz Sharif in this election. There were many videos where polices were literally keeping those people, with slogan and pictures of Nawaz Sharif, from voting which is their fundamental rights. This kind of tactical has been used if in 2013 allegedly judging by Imran Khan allegation on General Kiyani and in the past where General Ayub with the help engineered the election to defeat the sister of the founding father of Pakistan.

PTI came close in the last election but this election belonged to PMLN. Alas Imran Khan is in power due to certain factor for the same reasons that brought Nawaz Sharif and Altaf Hussein into time light in the first place.

This post looks like the work of a delusional person that is disconnected with reality and has been living under a rock

I have given up on trying to educate these donkey brains

I didn’t know you were going to educate me. Personally I prefer if you refute my arguments with the solid contents to back with.

I have been following development of Punjab and KPK very closely.

I suspect you will deny that certain political leaders that wanted inside local accountability against bigger names including Khattak have been forced to be fired which at the time Imran Khan was demanding the national accountability of Nawaz Sharif while keeping his internal crisis under the carpet.

What is next? You are gonna deny the provocative racial war that Khattak is known for in most dharnas?

All those points I have mentioned are actually accurate. Local investors did run away to Punjab after they have found out it was impossible to work with Imran Khan or his teams either way. For the similar reasons, metro projects in KPK looks unprepared and unorganized and not finalized yet while the estimation of the project’s budget could exceed more while the design of the project is still the question mark.

As for the selective accountability, that’s not secret since 1947 where political leaders have been hanged to death whereas the main establishment to this day still get away.

Imran Khan is safe as long as he follows the main establishment’s orders like the puppet. Otherwise, the next is on him.

As for Nawaz Sharif, he is traitor as mentioned in the signature but that doesn’t change the fact about the performance for Punjab particularly Lahore. A credit is the credit to where it is due. And it is also no wonder why PMLN still have the largest loyal following. They vote for development and they get the result. Same cannot be said about Zardari in Sindh and Karachi and Imran Khan in Peshawar never mind KPK.

lol you want me to refute your lies? ok lets start with sources for your claims, like when you said that there are videos of Army men stopping PMLN voters from voting, care to share one of those videos? Secondly you are parading performance of Nawaz, so in 35+ years of PMLN rule all they have to show is Lahore? Nawaz was PM of Pakistan not PM of Lahore. This is the reason that they lost from rest of Punjab.

If PTI performance in KPK was so bad then how come they won with 2/3rd majority. Another thing you might want to know is that i was in KPK at the start of the year and i have seen the difference with my own eyes and i was already predicting PTI sweep in KPK just like @PakSword was claiming PTI sweep in Karachi. And your signature means zilch, your history and your pro-PMLN statements in every thread contradicts it Mr Fallen King

It would be nice if you do refute my argument with solid stance for once instead of personal rhetoric and generalization statement that is fictional at best.

like when you said that there are videos of Army men stopping PMLN voters from voting, care to share one of those videos?

Not Army. Polices. Many clips were circulated back then and even in facebook. Election is long gone and so are deleted clips.

For now, this election, 2018, is good as the election of 2013 with the allegation of Imran Khan against General Kiyani to engineer the election in favor of Nawaz Sharif.

Secondly you are parading performance of Nawaz, so in 35+ years of PMLN rule all they have to show is Lahore? Nawaz was PM of Pakistan not PM of Lahore. This is the reason that they lost from rest of Punjab.

How does PMLN complete 35 years and yet interrupt by Army takeover every time when PMLN comes to the power? Never in the history as PMLN completed the federal term of government of Pakistan. First two times were short-lived. And this election, again interrupted by selective accountability.

Unless you are talking about the small administrative regions, then that is another matter. Even as provincial government, they delivered hence was voted for the federal government in the past.

Same thing happened again as Zardari became federal government, PMLN won election-2013 by the performance of their provincial government in Punjab, Lahore from 2007 to 2013. They delivered hence has been voted into federal government and as usual, they were short-lived.

So how does Nawaz Sharif complete 35 years + when PMLN has no history of completing even one term thank to military intervention?

If PTI performance in KPK was so bad then how come they won with 2/3rd majority. PTI performance in KPK is bad comparatively but its competitors are worse. No one in sane mind will vote for ANP and JUIF. That is where PTI shines but for long is the question mark. Even i will take PTI over them.

But the performance of KPK especially Peshawar is still the question mark. Even you cannot deny that. It is mess.

And your signature means zilch, your history and your pro-PMLN statements in every thread contradicts it Mr Fallen King

Pro-PMLN statements? If i support the stability over the dharnas that have negative impact on the economy, then i don't mind being seen as pro-PMLN.

Guess what? Imran Khan now feels the same way now just as he heads Pakistan as federal government inability to handle the opposition's dharnas even for few days proved too much for Imran Khan. And then, giving in to the opposition demands which only empowers them to dictate the ruling affairs at the expense of betterment of Pakistan and the protection of the minority.

My stance stills stands prioritizing the stability over the dharnas that is nothing but time pass dancing and whatnot.

Wait you want me to reply with solid stance when all your claims are fictional, sorry doesn't work like that

Not Army. Polices. Many clips were circulated back then and even in facebook. Election is long gone and so are deleted clips.

For now, this election, 2018, is good as the election of 2013 with the allegation of Imran Khan against General Kiyani to engineer the election in favor of Nawaz Sharif.

So your excuse for unable to provide evidence to your fictional claims is that all the videos have been deleted, mate you need to come up with something more plausible.

Ok PMLN has been in politics for 35yrs but they have been in power in Punjab for almost 18 years and in Federation for over 10 years. Here is the list of their terms. you can verify it

Punjab -

Chief Minister Nawaz

9 April 1985 - 6 Aug 1990 = 5 years + 119 days

Chief Minister Ghulam Haider Wyne

6 Aug 1990 - 25 April 1993 = 2 years + 262 days

Chief Minister Shahbaz

20 Feb 1997 - 12 Oct 1999 = 2 years 234 days

Chief Minister Dost Muhammad Khosa

11 Apr 2008 - 8 June 2008 = 58 days

Chief Minister Shahbaz

8 June 2008 - 7 June 2018 = 10 years

Total = 17 years + 308 days (almost 18 years)

Federation -

PM Nawaz

6 Nov 1990 - 18 July 1993 = 2 years + 256 days

PM Nawaz

17 Feb 1997 - 12 Oct 1999 = 2 years + 237 days

PM Nawaz

5 June 2013 - 28 July 2017 = 4 years + 53 days

PM Abbasi

1 Aug 2017 - 31 May 2018 = 304 days

Total = 10 years + 120 days

Even after being in power for such a long time, they were unable to improve anything except Lahore, thats just pathetic. And PTI was able to reform KPK in its first term, while you guys are claiming that Imran Khan will fail to reform Pakistan by judging them on their 80 days in power. I smell propaganda by the likes of mir jaffars of Pakistan.

It is mess.

The only thing that is a mess over there is the BRT, that i agree is a waste of resources. But apart from that i have never seen KPK like it is now. You should go and visit KPK and just ask the people, you will see what i mean.

Wait are you saying that Imran Khan should have left the TLP goons to kill people and burn properties for longer to show that he isn't afraid of them? Also this dharna was not against the govt or PTI, it was against the Judges/SC.

The dharnas that occurred against Nawaz was because he was to egoistic to listen to the demands of PTI. PAT joined the dharna wanting justice for the killing of its members by your PMLN govt, then faizabad dharna was also against the stupidity of PMLN govt for removing khatma nabuwat from the election forms.

The whole thread is yellow and speculative strawman arguments.
