Not hiring a highly educated and well qualified person, to please the cave educated mullahs can be described as Pakistans Race to the bottom.

Imran Khan wants power and for that he is ready to play to the gallery. In that sense he is just your typical run of the mill politician trying to sell beautiful dreams about Naya Pakistan.

modi extreme right wngr accused of 1000 murders, won indian elections. pro mullah pro ttp, ik don't engage ur self with killers of 40000 muslims of pakistan, just to win elections. your view for naya is far worse than purana.

he doesnot want a Qadiyni to be his Finance minister, he wants a competent Economist, selected on merit to be in his cabinet, when it comes down to it and not some Sambandhi...

you guys dont get it, dont you? the chap said we are Pakistanis, not sindhs, balochis, punjabi, kashmiri, pathan, shia, sunni, deobandi, barelvi, but we idiots wont let go our petty religious/ethnic mentality for greater good..
pls say something on ik's u turn on qadianis!!!

Imran needs some professional media advisor to advise him on what to say and what not to say. One doesn't has to say everything and not to answer every question. As much as we know him from his management style of the cancer hospital and the University, he is not a person who would give a hoot about religion while deciding about a position. In his personal life, he hardly does anything that is in line with strict religious teachings hence called 'Yahoodi agent' by religious extremists. It is irony that the same person is called yahoodi agent and taliban khan by two segments of the society. Those who are condemning him, what would they be doing in his position?

People so callously thanking the OP, and other similar posts are actually closet mullahs (that too Wahabi / Deobandi kind). Every day you get to find out about such people, how very biassed, bigoted they are at their very cores, yet blow the trumpet of unity amongst sects and religions. Political point scoring @ expense of a religion or sect, no one can fall that low - Or can they? Go back to the first two sentences of this post!

Did you even understand what @jazib was saying, or to whom was he replying. Try to dissect his post again, and try to wrap your brain around it. Maybe you'll get it, if you read it ten or twenty times.

I'm awed at the people who thanked your post!!!!

A Professor of economics at Princeton University. International Monetary Fund (IMF) named Mian as one of 25 young economists who are expected to be most influential in the decades to come.

These credentials are not enough for you?

Just admit it: He is not a very smart person! His list of blunders and casual mouthing-offs is long. It is reported that the 'Send money via Hundi' advice was suggested to him while he was making his speech during early days of Dharnas and he, mindlessly, blared that illegal and stupid directive to thousands of people.
How long is it going to take to politically 'train' him? And, yes, everyone, anywhere, anytime who is a leader of any country or any organization has to be a 'politician' in some capacity. Imran Khan is into his 60's. He has been trying to be a political force for about 2 decades. And yet he is co casual in his public utterances that it smacks of a stupid person--and extremely arrogant and dictatorial at the same time.

A person like Imran Khan needs to be scrutinized for his 'leadership' qualities (or lack of thereof) just like a politician like Zardari is scrutinized for 'corruption' charges. Giving blank checks to a stupid and arrogant person just because he is personally (financially) not corrupt is a recipe for disaster to govern a very complex country like Pakistan.

I did not get his post in the beginning hence my reply. He then replied to my post as follows:

"yaar these are enough for me . i was replying to someone else . They said they hate imran decision. and he suggested that local business men should be made finance minster . SO i was just ask for recommendations." and I thanked him for that.

@jazib seems to have no problem, why you have? Can I not make mistake or misunderstood a post? Did I insist on further?

Why are you picking on me? Some personal issue? Why not you contact individually to those who have thanked me and urge them to retract thanks they have given to me?

kaisey kaisey log hamarey ji ko jalaney aa jatey hein

Dude, calm down. I'm not picking on you at all. Actually your political views and mine are almost similar. I just wanted to correct an error. I just got shocked why others were thanking you, when obviously they didn't read both the posts.

I'm very touchy about PTI. Maybe that triggered it! :p:

P.S. Who cares about the thanks?

I agree with you 100%.

Correct me if I am wrong but I'm assuming that you don't mind an Ahmedi to be a minister. That's fine. I am sort of confused on this matter but I want your opinion on this, if tomorrow one group comes out and say they are Muslims and they claim the sun is Allah, will you still allow them to promote that sort of believe and ppl in that group be in government post since we should not care about someone's religion?

I disagree with Ahmedis beliefs but I believe that religion and state affairs need not to be mingled. As long as someone is not a security risk, he/she be allowed to hold any position (as per the constitution) in the government irrespective of their theological/religious beliefs.

For instance Chief Justices AR Cornelius and Justice Rana Bhagwandas, and Justice Dorab Patel albeit of being non-Muslims were every bit more competent and respectable Justices of the Pakistan Supreme Court compared to Justices Muhammad Munir and Anwarul Haq who brought disgrace to Pakistan judiciary.
