Imran Khan to take Khawaja Asif to Court!

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Tuesday that he has decided to take PML-N leader Khawaja Asif to court over allegations levelled against the Shaukhat Khanum Trust.

During a news conference in Lahore, Khan added that he would take all those individuals to court including Chaurdhry Nisar who accused him of taking funds from Shaukhat Khanum.

“The allegations were levelled in Ramzan as they (PML-N) knew this is when Shaukhat Khanum Trust collects the majority of its donations. By hurling these allegations they have put the life of patients in jeopardy,” Khan said.

Khan added that he was still waiting for PML-N president Nawaz Sharif to answer the eleven questions. “Nawaz Sharif hides behind Khawaja Asif and Chaudhry Nisar.”

Shaukhat Khanum provides free treatment to the poor Khan informed the media as he appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of these allegations.

The PTI chairman also said that Shaukjhat Khanum was about to break ground on another cancer hospital in Lahore and would build one in Karachi if they were provided land.

We should also try to understand feeling of PMLN and what they are going through these days when everybody is talking about Tsunami and no body is giving a f&ck to what Nawaz or PML(N) says. Media blames them, people blames them, PPP blames them and PTI blames them and their own workers do he same.

Right or wrong lakin bhaya unka klajea bhi phat-ta hota.. and they find no way to exhaust their frustration. Its not case to condemn PMLN, its the case to show sympathy towards them. Unko tassali do unka gham ghalt karo.. PMLN was out of power for 10 years, then they got opposition and now after 15 years they had their chance which is swept by PTI. We need to sympathize with poor PMLN who has lost everything in their unflinching support of corrupt and nonperforming PPP regime.

Salman Raja is the lawyer of IK??? Incredible. He is a really strong lawyer, with a good reputation. Him and Babar Sattar are the two bright and sensible minds in lawyer community.

BTW, also like the simplistic style how PTI does press conference. Compared to PML which does a press conference in a palace!

BTW, today the points that IK raised are all very valid. Contempt bill walkout, no opposition, etc etc. And also the point that they were going to go on a campaign against PPP but PML did this brilliant thing.

Well SKMH really stands out tall compared to other modern hospitals in Pakistan, SKMH really sets the benchmark for other future hospitals in Pakistan, Has any other political party in Pakistan made any serious effort to build a state of the art hospital in Pakistan. The Noora league is hell bent on destroying this wonderful institute which provides free treatment to the poor especially in South Asia. If Imran successfully wins the case against Noora League it will severely tarnish their image.

1. Imran Khan being the leader of the PTI should not be suing 2nd tier leader of PML-N when their top leaders are hiding away.
2. PML-N is only interested in personal attacks to tarnish the reputation of Imran Khan and if it comes through defaming cancer hospital, so be it.
3. The allegations of misappropriation of edowment fund were on the hospital. Since the hospital administration clarified the claims publicly, there was no need to go to court.
4. PML-N strategy is to sap the energies and divert attention from their mismanagement and corruption and to also draw Imran in attacks and counter attacks. By going to court, Imran Khan has taken the bait.
5. Imran Khan must limit his public appearances and must not take it upon himself to respond to every Tom, Dick and Harry of the noora league. This brings his stature down and this is what the nooras exactly want - to show him as an unimportant and just another politican.

Generally, and in any educated country, your points are strong and deserve to be followed. However, the sound effects and vibrations of an IK win against Khawaja Asif (even if it is a second teir leadership of PML-n) will be very different in Pakistan.

In Pakistan, it will (very quickly) become a win of IK and defeat of Nawaz Sharif. If such a win comes closer to elections then even better. It can help to propel PTI and IK to new heights.

Nothing will happen , Supreme court is not going to pay any attention to this case , since it does not relate to them , this will be tried in the High Court's & the dates will keep postponing , as non of of the Pml(n) leaders are going to respect any summons from court .

This is the reality , the free Judiciary who we fought for is just concerned for their own Ego & their tussle with government .

Only thing we can do is to realize the Truth & use our Heads next time we cast our Vote , if we still dont wake up , then we Deserve what we are getting .
