Beautiful piece Aeronaut sir, thanks for sharing it.
Reading this gives me a very positive feeling, this woman is spot on in her analysis of Imran Khan.
Basically, her message is, we do not have a better alternative, the current bunch of leaders have had plenty of time but did not do enough, and it's time for a breathe of fresh air.
Imran Khan brings something else, something I cannot describe, but you KNOW and FEEL that this man loves his country and will do anything to push it forward.
How long have we waited and longed for someone like him? His charisma and stature and this undeniable passion he has for his countrymen/women to live in a Pakistan we all can be proud of.
People keep on blatantly criticizing him for e.g. his past, but they fail to provide an alternative, something or someone else, these people love to criticize, but come up with their own solutions? Oh no.
Imran Khan has been busy for over a decade to stand firm in the political arena, even as an outsider, to see how far he has made it today, it's quite impressive to say the least.
I say, once this man comes into power, give Pakistan a year or 5, and we shall be back on track, a force to be reckoned with in the international arena, and a country we can TRULY be proud of.
This man does not need money, all he wants is to get the opportunity, seize it, and unite the 180+ million people in this country with troubled sentiments.
You simply cannot vote for the likes of Nawaz or Zardari or any other political party, they are dull, don't inspire people, have no clear agenda or goal, and on top of it all, these people are ****** RICH.
How...can a selfrespecting man/woman from all layers of society in Pakistan, and especially the poor layers, vote for these rich people? The gap between them is HUGE, how can a Zardari or Nawaz ever understand or comprehend how the average Pakistani feels, thinks or wants?
Still it haunts me sometimes and frustrates me to see people like Zardari in charge....
I mean, what was the nation of Pakistan even THINKING..?
Ohwell...how many times we have fallen and still fall, soon we'll fall real hard and hopefully wake up and choose the right man to lead us out of the current situation.
That man is Imran Khan.
If anyone has a better alternative, please name him/her.
As for the rest, don't bother bringing up the other political parties, especially the "major" ones because they've had PLENTY of chances before and deep down in my heart, I'd like to see them all gone and burned in hell so we can start afresh.
Ohwell, anxious times are ahead, let us make the right choices at the critical times, because I've said it before, Pakistan is at crossroads, we either fall behind or we move forward, while our neighbours go ahead lightyears.
God Bless Pakistan and Imran Khan!
P.S: I'm gonna send this lady an email and thank her for such a quality article, very inspiring too.
